Bay Hills Golf Club

This course doesn’t disappoint! Just when you think you read the greens correctly ...,,you remember the challenging part.

Very peaceful course and the staff is very nice and accommodating.

ten times slower than i would have expected for a tuesday in october. we were waiting for the group in front of us on almost every shot. played through twice throughout the day and never eased up. me and my playing partners are in late 20s/early 30s and the other players were all seniors which plays into it but still could see guys just standing around when they were cleared to hit. marshall was busy throughout the round. some holes could use a leaf blower even in fairways. best part of the round was the weather.

Although wet weather required cart path only play the course was in good shape and for a change the pase of play was good.

This was my first round at Bay Hills early on a Friday morning. I am from Southern California so it was fun to play such a "green" course lined with trees. It had rained all night but the course the fairways were drained and in excellent shape. It was cart path only with was understandable given many soggy areas. The greens look like they were punched recently but they were also in great shape, just slow from the rain. We played as a twosome at 7:30 am and finished in just over 3 hours. I will definitely be coming back to this course during our stay in Annapolis,

First time playing and I was pleasantly surprised of the nice layout, where you need to work the ball on many tee shots. There were a lot of seniors playing and the Pro Shop attendee (Josh) seemed to know everyone. He was friendly, efficient and managing everything from carts to the check in process. That impressed me. The course had the greens punched recently and I think a lot of people would give the course a poorer rating on the conditions due to this. I however, appreciate the pro-active maintenance and look forward to my next round here when the greens roll smoother. I was still able to read the green okay, just the speed was a bit off. The Tee boxes and fairways were in very good shape and mowers were going cutting grass throughout the round. The bunkers were in good shape too..

It was an enjoyable round with above average playing conditions. I will be back.

The greens were aerated and sanded so ti was dificult to accurately judge puts. Somtimes the ball would hop on impact.Otherwise the course was in decent shape, The course was packed due to great weather conditions but we still managed a 4 hour round.

First time playing. Staff was very friendly. Course wasn’t full, so pace of play was good. Fairways and the course in general were nice. Greens were a little sandy and tee boxes were a little rough & grass slightly long, but not a huge deal. I’ll definitely return.

Could not believe that a maintenance worker was blowing sand on freshly irrigated green while a group was putting. Hole 15. Unbelievable! Really wish I had taken photos.

The course is fine other then the same issue that the course continues to ignore, slow play. Have never seen a marshal on this course and the pace of play can get very, very slow.

The course was described favorably to me by friends, but I was disappointed from the moment I arrived. Course maintenance was between poor and non-existent. Tee boxes weren't mowed, fairways were patchy and cut unevenly. Every bunker was disaster, with heavy water damage in most. And every green on the front nine was covered in sand, making putting or play on them impossible.

Would not recommend. There are far better courses in the area for similar price, and many for less.
