Bay Hills Golf Club

Course is in good condition but does need a martial to control pace of play.

I paid $500 for all I could golf, anytime, Mon-Fri. for a $20 cart fee. They did not tell me I would be charged $10 to walk the course. What a ripoff. They should have at least included a beer & hot dog with that.

There too many time restrictions for weekday members because of all the leagues. Three days a week, no tee times after 12pm because of evening leagues. They should have advertised restrictions before selling memberships.

Wed night men's league: The pro shop allows league players to warm up on the 9th green.

Those players are very rude and distracting.

They warm up on 9th green and don't get out of the way for players approaching the green from their daily round.

They don't stop talking while players are putting out.

Weekday members can't make online tee times. Tee time discounts do not apply and the pro shop is not always available to answer the phone.

95 degree weather and two water jugs are completely empty.

I played this course in the spring and was surprised how well the greens and fairways were. However, most golf courses should be in pretty good condition in the spring. Today it was a totally different golf course. The greens on the front nine a lot of sand from the aeration and most of the back nine were okay. The tees and fairways were extremely dry. It looked like they don't bother to use any water to keep things green. I'm glad I got a Hot Deal on this round, because it wasn't worth anymore than what I paid.

Bay Hills is a fun layout with a great variety of holes...short, long, uphill, downhill, and doglegs in both directions (though there's more dl right than dl left). It will challenge low handicap golfers but it's also a great course for high handicappers and beginners. It's only got three par 3's and one par 5, so the course plays to an overall par of 70. I played labor day weekend 2019 and the course is in decent shape. Greens are very good (back nine recently aerated), fairways are fair to good, roughs are pretty bad. They're working on the course though so I expect a positive trend. I found the staff to be super friendly. I will definitely come back again.

Very slow day. Took about 5 hours to complete the round. Sat at the tee box for 5-7 minutes every hole. Did not see one Marshal all day.

Course has a good layout with some challenges. There are some blind shots, but having played before, not a big problem. Pace of play was good. There was some backup on the back nine, but still no a major issue. Greens were in good shape along with fairways.

I love Bay Hills. It is beautiful and challenging but not so hard that you can't have a good time. My ONLY complaint are the CART PATHS...They are horrible and have been for years. Still do not understand why the management doesn't start the work on a few of the paths and do a few every few months so in a year or two we could all ride along without losing our teeth!!! Other than that the course has scenic beauty 2nd to none and plays well. We live close by so we play the course a lot. How 'bout starting a go fund me page to finance new cart paths!!! Or collect an extra $5 bucks from everyone who plays and put it towards new cart paths...The course would be in the top ten in MD if people felt they could play it without developing a kidney problem from being joust around on the current cart paths! :) Just say'n...

I have played Bay Hills a few times each year for perhaps the last 10 or 12 years. In that time the course has steadily improved. for example, several years ago there were weeds growing in the bunkers. Now the bunkers are maintained but are not yet raked daily. Of course, at this time of year some areas of fairway are dry. The rough is pretty rough in the sense that it includes a lot of weeds growing near the fairway and that sort of thing. But, the trajectory is positive. Greens at Bay Hills have always been pretty good and are keeping up. if it were my course, i would charge a bit more for a round and put that money into more grooming.

Tee boxes are suffering pretty hard. Fairways and greens are decent to stellar. Course is overall very firm. Not my go-it, definitely feels overpriced for current conditions. Has drastically gotten worse since last season (previous visit). Surprised 13 is a Par 3 "temporarily", have seen other courses just mark areas as no play zones/GUR while replacing sod. If they could put the money they put into their strong but slow greens into the rest of the facility, could be a great course....but alas.

What a great course, staff is friendly and fun, three holes are getting the attention they need. Great course!

Overall it was a fun course to play, most of their fairways were in amaxung condition especially considering the heat of this summer. The fairways were honestly my favorite part. One downside of the course in my opinion is that almost all of their par 4's were extremely repetitive, a little over 300 yards each and very straight. It felt like I was playing the same hole over and over. Good for a low score but not that exciting. The course was overall pretty short, good for a low score but didn't take much time at all to play. I enjoyed the course a lot and will go back, friendly staff and a fun place to play!

Great experience playing this course, only thing the cart paths need some work but the fairways and greens were in good condition.

Greens are great! Most fairways are in really good shape except a couple on the back nine which have always had issues . The rough is spotty. Good little tight course.
