Amazing golf course, I live 1 hour away and it was my first time playing here. Amazing layout, the greens were perfect. I’m already planning for next week.
Nice Course
It’s an older community course. Lots of extremely old overgrown trees. On several holes, what appear to be good tee shots turn into tree trouble. The course played firm and fast. Based on the season an recent weather, the green were extremely firm and very difficult to hold. Most of the greens were very large, but if you short sided yourself, you needed to have tremendous touch to get it close. The course definitely played tougher that appearance the scorecard gave. Again, a lot of that had to do with the fall breezy and dry conditions. If the greens and fairways were a little softer, I think the course would have played a lot different!
Bay Hills
Great value had a great time with the gentlemen I was pared with. Bunkers are the thing that needs the most attention . Greens and fairways were great.
Improvements holding steady
Last minute GolfNow deal for under $50 on a Saturday morning. Cart path-only conditions due to heavy rains overnight and the day before, but other than a few soaked areas, the course drained beautifully. Even with the cart-path rule pace was good, likely because the course was only moderately busy. Fairways and greens in great shape, bunkers understandably not so much. Looking forward to a few more rounds in the Fall.
Gouging
Keeping a business afloat is important, but not my priority. There is no way any round at this course should ever cost more than $50. They have done nothing since the first time I played here that indicates investment in course improvements.
What a great course!
The course was amazing! The fairways and the greens were in immaculate condition! Very responsive and they had a great pace all the way through! For a Sunday in September the course wasn’t busy at all. If you are a golfer in the Mid-Atlantic/ Baltimore DC area, this course is a must play!! I will definitely be back here soon!
Hurry along
Everything about the course and facility was good. We teed off shortly before our scheduled time, and made the turn in under 2 hours. However, I would not suggest playing here if you're looking for a casual round of golf. Course staff pressured our group to speed up our pace of play due to an evening league that began around 5pm. When we got to the back 9, we were held up for groups in from of us. We finished 18 holes in about 4 hours 15 minutes. Well before the league was scheduled to begin.
