Bay Hills Golf Club

This was a really nice course, and in great condition as the fairway grass starts to return from being dormant. The pace of play was really painful.

Golfers definitely seemed to be more on the beginner end of the spectrum, with the golfers I was paired with saying they typically shoot 110+. On the first tee box there were 5 carts waiting to go out ahead of us, and we had to wait between 5-10 minutes for the majority of the round.

The course routing (no par 5s on the front nine and only one on the back nine) combined with its relatively short length mean that things don't really start to clear until the back nine. It may make sense for tee times to be further apart than 10 minutes, or to alternate sending groups out on the 1st and 10th holes.

The course also had no water at all out on the course, with all the water stations empty. The coolers were all sitting in a pile at the clubhouse, and clearly have not been used recently. That wasn't great given it was a 75+ degree day.

I would definitely go back for the quality of the course layout, but I would aim to tee off before 8AM in hopes of getting out before the slowest golfers. If this is what it was like midweek, I can only imagine on the weekends.

a great day. Course was cart path only, which made sense but it drained well. The Supt had fun with a few of the pins by placing them on a slight elevation. The staff was great and Sandy is the best cook around. She lightens everyone's day.

Foursome with 3 carts CP only were terribly slow. No Marshall monitoring.

The course is coming along. Just need some warm days and it will be perfect. They have new ownership and the changes they are making are all good ones. Looking forward to playing there many times this year.

I have to say all of the hard work is starting to come together! I play this course often, the improvements will make the course more appealing for newcomers as well as returning regulars.

Winter conditons in play. Weather was sunny and 55 degress in Febuary. Best part , it was Shatter rule with the golf carts. However there are lots and lots of very slow groups. They need an active Marshall to do their job. Never saw one. I looped the 3rd thru 5th hole twice to allow thoses behind me and in front of me to not get too jammed up. You can see and notice lots of improvements , starting wiith sand traps and redressing some tee boxes. The fairway's are thin and /or bare. The greens still need to be given first aid.. Again, judging under winter dormant conditions. I like the layout, very hilly as the name of the course says. I'll come back in late spring and play again to see if the maintenance crew and mother nature have improved some of the basic thngs.

It was wet right after big snow but it drain well considering

I used Golf Now Hot Deal and had $10 off. I played alone, with nearest group 4 holes behind. It was the day after TONS of rain so it was soft.

But I like the layout and the greens were fine. Only downside is the 500 geese and all their poop on the course.

Terrible condition even for winter golf, no range, no starter, just an absolute disappointment

For December play in Maryland, the course was in fair condition. Tee boxes are pretty beat up. The greens require a lot of repair work. Reasonable rates available on Golf Now. Course definitely challenges you. A fun golf outing overall.
