Worst Golfing Experience
I’ve never complained about anything and I’ve never left anything other than 5 stars but man……Had a big scramble in the morning that bled into the afternoon. I don’t know why they would still take reservations knowing they would be packed to the gills with that scramble. Told when checking in our tee time was going to be delayed 20-30 minutes but the ranger would be there to get us started as soon as possible. Went out Ranger was no where to be found. It was complete and utter chaos out on the course, people hole hoping, people just randomly cutting in front of us on the tee box and out in the fairways. . Just complete and utter chaos, no rangers out on the course to keep it in check nothing. Once the event ended and everybody left the back 9 was really nice and relaxing. However, that was definitely the worst experience I’ve had in my 10 years of golfing and will be my last time playing this course. Course was in great shape and looked really nice. However, for that experience no chance I come back this summer. Twin Oaks, Hickory, and AJ Jolly are just as nice and never had to put up with that.

Course was in great shape. Was paired with a very slow twosome for the first nine and then hopped on with a faster/more skilled group on the back and my score got better, lol. This course is in great shape for this time of year, really enjoyed playing this day on a last minute deal. Also was allowed to play another nine on the willows for only 8 bucks. Had a great time working on my game

Well maintained and great layout. A small crowd due to weather, but still a great time. The staff rocks. FYI: end of year deals in the Pro Shop.

Supposed to be 56 degrees but it turned out to be cold and windy. The course was in great shape and had a good time anyway.

2-18 hole courses
No problem what so ever ,reservation and T Time were exact, , great staff , play was alittle slow due to amount of people playing, will look for more great offers on GolfNow.

Pioneer course, Kenton County Golf
I’ve played here several times this year. The staff has always been friendly. The course has always been in really good condition, tee boxes, fairways and greens.
Speed of play is usually pretty good. About 3.5-4 hrs for 18 holes on a busy day.
It’s become on of my favorite courses.

good value for the money
course was in good shape well worth 55 when some other courses greens fees are 65

Thick rough
Only complaint about the course is length of the rough…..definitely needs to be knocked down a bit as it’s difficult to find balls that roll just off the fairway… greens are slower than the Willows, but as always the course is in great shape… will certainly be back
