Betcha do come back!!! I will!!!
This was a fabulous course in the countryside of Oldham County, near Louisville, KY! The pictureresque course is very well taken care of, with a somewhat straight but challenging layout. The are a couple of "dog-leg" holes that should be called "broken dog legs", cause those fairway angles "ain't right"... lol. A couple of blind greens on par 5 par 4 holes and your heart is racing 'cause your eyes can't lie!
The price is more than fair and reasonable, and the local player's take you into thier group as if they've known you for years. If you are from the area and haven't been here, well shame on ya. I live in Bowie, MD, but was raised in Louisville long ago. I just took up golf through the PGA Hope Program in September and I now know what I've been missing in life!!!
Fellow Veterans and civies alike, you must come play Eagle Creek as soon as you can.
I will be back
It had been years since playing this course. I was pleased to find the conditions had improved. The greens were in good dhape and moving surprisingly fast. T boxes were ok , flat and mowed but some of them simply need a little weed and feed. Traps were not the best , some were good others but so much.
The layout is a bear from the tips. Average golfer 10 plus handicap will be challenged from the whites. The cost is inexpensive , I paid 20 bucks including the fee on golf now.
Great Value
For the money, you cannot beat this track. The people and the course are both top notch. Definitely coming back soon.

Very good Value.. Very Good Condition
Enjoyed the day the course and the service. Great condition.. will be returning SOON!
Average
Could be very nice course if it was taken care of. The day I played were in desperate need of ranger
Not what it used 2 b.
Replacing 1 fairway. Greens were in rough shape. Tee boxes full of crab grass. Very poor condition and grounds ppl were driving into our flight path and backward on the path. Put some $$$$ back into this course and it could as good as it was a few years ago. Run Down.
Not so good this year.
Terrible conditions
I realize they had gotten a lot of rain but many of the problems we encountered were not problems that had just popped up. Tee boxes dead, fairways shaggy, dead or washed out areas, very disappointing.
good shape
Coarse was in good shape even after 2 days of storms and rain.
Great getaway
This course is off the beaten path but well worth the drive. The greens were in great shape. The staff was friendly, carts were almost new and ran great. The fairways were a little bare in spots but understandable this time of year with Bermuda grass. Overall, it was a great day of golf.
fun place to play
Enjoy playing. Good diversity and nice greens. Challenging on many holes.
Good for the price
Nothing fancy, just a good public course for a cheap round.
Don't Do It!
Last year when I played this course, I promised myself I'd never play it again... Well, I played it again today and it was even worse than I remember. Not only was the course in terrible shape (and yes, I know it's March but I've played other courses in the area that are in MUCH better shape) but the woman running the clubhouse clearly has no idea what she's doing. She was pairing up people when there could've been foursomes...sending some people off the front and some off the back, which created quite a mess out on the course. But thank goodness she asked every customer if they wanted a hot dog at the turn... Clearly this golf course is on its way down the drain so do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You won't see me there ever again...that's for sure.
This course could be very good.
Course is sloppy wet as usual, making is less enjoyable to play.
In great shape for winter conditions
The staff was great, friendly and informative. Overall the course condition was good for the time of year. Good layout and a great value.
Cold and Breezy but Fabulous
As the title conveys it was a cold and breezy day. The ball did not carry well, but that is to be expected. The course was in great shape for the time of year. We were allowed in the rough, but not on the fairways. The ground was still very damp so you did not get any roll. I love the layout and challenging holes at this course. I have only played it a couple of time, but I certainly intend to again.
relaxing
Lots of wildlife, nice scenery. Challenging. Everyone was friendly.
It is a great course!
It is a great course with nice shape. Greens were pretty good, improvement is needed in the fairways of some holes.
But the staff was very courteous.
Fairways!!!
Fairways were almost as thick and in some cases, thicker than the rough!
