Midland Trail
Midland is an excellent course for low and high handicappers. There are generous landing areas off the tee and the spacious greens offer big targets. But just reaching the greens in regulation does not translate to easy birdies or pars. Reading the undulations can be quite tricky. In the past year several new pot bunkers have been added which may require a sideways exit. The staff is professional and very friendly.
Midland is a good test for all levels of golf ability..
Beautiful day enjoyed with friends.
The course played well. Fairways in excellent shape. The greens were rolling true. I spent most of my waiting time for putting fixing ball marks. The traps add additional challenge, so it is best to avoid. My home course for two years now. Excellent value and fantastic staff. I love this place.
Terrible Greens!
Quite simply the worst greens ive ever played. The layout is fantastic, but According to the members, the greens keeper refuses to cut the greens low enough. A 5 footer is hit with 10 foot force. The problem isn't losing the greens. The problem is laziness. Steer clear until the course web page reads, "new greens keeper."
Great pace of play
Best value for private golf in the Louisville area. Zoysia fairways, bent grass greens. Greens have subtle breaks that will leave you scratching your head. Staff was cheerful and very laid-back. Owners are putting a lot of money into renovations and improvements. Membership is always full and there is a waiting list for new membership opportunities. Pace of play was amazing. Want to consistently play 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours, then this is your place.
Worn Out....
Worst greens I've ever played....worn out after 9 holes
Fun first & 10th tee shots
Fairly easy tee to green, tough greens because of inconsistency and many subtle breaks. Fun course to play.
