One of my Faves
I have always enjoyed playing Walden CC especially when the greens are in great shape like they were today (in February). I can’t wait to see what the course and greens will look like this season.
I'll pass next time
Beautiful course....probably years ago. Greens are pretty beat up---fix your divots peeps! Old carts with broken handles, windshields, etc. Could really be a nice local course if they kept the grounds up.
Last good day
It’s was 78 degrees in November took Advantage of the golf app found a great golf course did let me down. The greens were the Best they been in a long time . Got to play nine with a gentleman who took a long lunch. The back nine by myself got to practice with a new driver an fairway clubs. Great day
Need a Marshall
Had to skip the 5th hole in order to get by the glacial pace group in front of us. Once we did, pace was good. The staff was friendly and hard working. Hope this course will continue to improve.

It was a Tuesday didn’t have to work check my app saw a price I couldn’t pass up . Great time course was in great shape not a lot of leaves for this time of year
I really want this course to succeed
I have played this course many times in the past 24 years. More in the beginning and was and could be a great place to play. Sadly it looks more like an abandoned course with someone that cuts whatever grows in the fairways. The trees have not been trimmed in years blocking parts of the fairway that it was never designed to block. The bunkers have weeds growing in them but still have rakes. Im afraid that if they can’t thrive in this current golf craze where every place is booked all day, it can’t survive at any time. Im sad because of its unique design. It was designed by two different men so it really is like playing two courses. I don’t know if it’s ownership or lack of vision but either fix it up to the great and fun course it could be or let it die completely. It’s too hard to watch it fade away.
Making a comeback!?
Since my last review I have been really impressed with what I’ve seen at WCC. The greens are starting to take shape again and aspiring to their old glory. It is obvious to me, as often as I play the course, that WCC is making a comeback. I play WCC on average 2-3 times a week, I love the course layout and the challenge it poses. I am excited to see the WCC comeback process.
The staff at WCC are very friendly and accommodating…within reason. As far as off course amenities go, the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. I also love their short-game practice area.
I am impressed with what I see. Keep up the good work!
