Closed on day of prepaid reservation
I prepaid for a reservation and showed with my foursome to a closed golf course. Furthermore GolfNow made it incredibly difficult to get a refund or reschedule and Walden didn’t return my messages for a rain check.
Complete garbage customer service and planning.
Needs work on general course maintenance
Weather has been great. Greens and fairways not mowed. It's a shame they don't take better care of course. It's close to me and would probably be a member if the course was properly taken care of.
Great Value for your money.
Course was in okay condition. Greens were acceptable not horrible. Course is work the $40 I pay to play at 1:30pm. Course has a lot of dry spots and there was a fallen tree on one of the greens. I’m verbal though I really liked the course for the price. The layout is really tight but it’s nestled within a really small community but there were a lot of shots over water and blind shots. Difficulty I’d give it a 4/5 for a new golfer but someone with more playing experience will probably find this course to be very easy. Overall I enjoyed myself
Snack bar
Our foursome had a great day. The course was in great shape for this time of the year. The only downside being that the grill and bar weren’t open for food and drinks.. A few snacks were available in the pro shop. The guy working in the pro shop was friendly, courteous and helpful, as usual.
One of my Faves
I have always enjoyed playing Walden CC especially when the greens are in great shape like they were today (in February). I can’t wait to see what the course and greens will look like this season.
