good day
Greens in good shape, fast; fairways generally ok but a fair number of bad spots over the 18 holes. Course is fairly short so seniors' and women's tees are the same, which some guys don't like. Play moved along well. Overall, a good experience, especially for the money.
Very nice course
Fairways in very good shape, very generous. Greens in very good shape also. I would definitely recommend this course.
Nice course
Very nice course. Has some dead spots in the fairways, but in pretty good shape for the most part. Greens are excellent. Rough is thick.
Love the course
For my 19 - 22 handicap this is an
excellent course. It provides challenges on just about every hole. Greens were very good. Some fairways were not in good shape due to the very harsh 2014 winter on the Bermuda grass.
Great value.
The course was in good condition. Still a few spots of winter kill left in the fairways. Started at 10AM. We never had to wait and was never pushed. A great course for the average golfer. The folks that work there are always nice.
Pleasant round of golf
Course in good shape, but sand traps need sand. Course management was friendly and our group enjoyed our round of golf. I would go back and recommend to others to visit the course. Great rate on GolNow!
Friendly staff & nice course
This is a somewhat difficult course with quick greens. It is well maintained with pretty scenery.
Not too bad
Fairways are a little rough but I believe it's bc of the long winter we had this year. Also we haven't had much rain in the past couple of weeks so that comes In to account as far as divets go.
Lincoln parl
Good course to travel to see and play. The course is a easy course to play
Good value
The course is in good shape. The pace of play is great. There are some challenging holes on the course and then some that are easier for us average golfers. I highly recommend playing here.
Fairways are currently in terrible shape
Instead of hitting off of dirt in the fairways you were better off being in the rough. Really expected better conditions.
Hilly, lot of blind shots
First time playing here. The course plays easy, but blind shots due to the hills made finding/tracking your ball difficult. Had to drive ahead on a lot of holes just to see what was up (layout and leading players). Club house didn't have any food except vending machine/microwave stuff so be sure to pack you a lunch. The $13 price special was the only thing that got us to make the 1 hour drive from Louisville. If I had to pay full price I would not play here again or recommend to friends from Louisville.
special course
There is something about this course, everyone likes it.
Don't judge a book by it's cover
Some players would not be impressed by a course that is less than 6200 yards from the tips but you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. The par 3 yardage total is 750 so they average 187.50 yards and they are all uphill.
The greens are the shining stars here. Small and not a flat putt on any of them it seems. Some have huge breaks and some have very subtle breaks that leave you puzzled. They were holding appraoch shots well when I played. Firm greens here could cause you to have some big numbers on our card.
I plan to play this course on a regular basis now that I know what I have been missing. Course conditions overall were very good. For $29.00 I got what I feel is a verygood deal.
