Good value overall
The pace and course was good and pretty challenging. The e cart path was terrible for a country club and the directions especially for hole 11 needs work. And who ends a course on an uphill par 5?!? Grueling…
Great Time and Nice Course
I was able to get a HOT deal for $35pp with a cart midweek so was a very good value. I usually walk but I am glad I had a cart as it was very hilly. Pace was good as we played in 4 hours and we rarely waited for the group ahead.
The layout was not one of my favorites as many holes on the front were sloped or had serious elevation changes and a few blind shots. The back nine was flatter but still had big elevation changes on 10 and 18. The greens were sanded but still ran well with lots of breaks.
As I said, not in my favorite courses list but conditions and the facility were above average. I would go back.
Not Bad At All
Just off exit 75 of inter-state 95 in Maine, this course is a nice challenge. It's not hard; but you will need to concentrate and think. There are 4 tee boxes so that everyone can play. Everything is in one notch below great. The tee boxes are level and in good shape. The fairways are full and mowed at just the right hight. The rough is playable ( playable rough makes it easy to find your golf ball and thus speeds up the game). The greens are in good shape; notice I didn't say great. The front 9 offers some great views. The back 9 has a very nice stream running through it.
I would definitly reccomend playing this course
Tough Greens
When you make it to the greens be prepared to undergo a series of fast, sloped, rolling greens. On a majority of holes the fairways are steep with uphill lies which gives you a blind shot to the green. On several holes you are presented with downhill shot to the green. A few holes are narrow and relatively flat compared to the rest. A well maintained course, it's situated in Western Maine foothills dotted with beautiful scenery, and the staff was very informative and courteous. We enjoyed our play and plan to return for another round.
very hilly
Course was in very good condition. Played on a long holiday weekend . Pace of play was typical for a twosome followiing foursomesWould definitely return
Perfect conditions, great course
I love to play here. Id be a Member if I lived closer.
Greens were perfect. Few players, played alone.
I like this course
Within only a few miles there are several places you could play.
At this time, this is one of the better places. The fairways are cut to a good length and are in good shape. The greens are making a nice come back from the winter.
Really good course
Love the courses, challenging really fast greens. Not a lot of flat greens, have to really think how to play them.
Great golf course
Amazing got course the staff super friendly. The front nine plays a bit easier than the back nine although it has some very intimidating tee shots especially hole number one and nine. The back nine plays longer and the two par threes are no gimmes. The finishing hole although a short par five due to the slope it plays long. You must hit a good tee shot otherwise your toast.
