Disappointed
Front 9 was airated today so we could only play the back 9. I wish we were forewarned before hand. Cart paths r in disrepair. Clubhouse staff was very friendly and apologetic.
Bring Your Walking Shoes
What a fun course - lots and lots of up and downs. Fairways a little burnt out due to lack of water (to be expected) but the greens were absolutely stupendous.
Even though this was the first time playing thie course, some of the slope in the fairways was a bit tricky but manageable.
Definitely plan on coming back - - and stop by the patio for a frosty one as you watch players teeing off on a picturesque downhill hole # 10!!
Worth the trip
Had a nice day at Martindale. Greens were in great shape but challenging as they are designed mostly crowned . Fairways were good considering area is in moderate drought. Help in pub not very friendly though.
Beautiful Cours
Course is beautiful and in amazing shape. Thanknyou
Ball workers course
Blind tee shots, blind approaches, have to hit draws on fade holes, stupid golf. If you’re not going to play this all the time, skip it. It is not straight ball friendly.
Nice day in Maine
It's a little bit out in the country but it's a fun place to play. A better deal than some of the more coastal "tourist" courses. Good variety of holes.
Enjoyed Round
Course and greens in very good condition. Front 9 and back 9 were different experiences with front being on top of the hill, more open feel. The back 9 was tighter and more of a valley experience. It was a hot day and found no water on the course nor a a beverage cart. Cart paths were in tough shape in spots. Couple of quirky holes: 1st hole is a short. Uphill hole, tortoise top par 3 green on back is brutal to hold.
Mountain goat
What a fantastic course to play but you must be able to walk up and down hills. The elevation changes were challenging and such fun to play. Most of us are used to flat courses. There are a few holes here that were but some felt like ski slopes. Hard hitting up but fun hitting down. Lots of blind shots too. Walked about 5 miles with a cart. Saw someone walking the front nine and couldn’t believe it. Can’t wait to play it again!
Great club
I come down from up north a few times a season as a single and Martindale staff always pairs me with great members and ambassadors of the club

Love This Course
Always a joy to play at ‘the Dale’. Course was in great condition, fairways were cushy, greens rolling true, rough was thick but manageable. The layout of the front is entirely different than the back. Trying to keep it on the #11 green will always be difficult.
Great condition
The greens were in exceptional condition for this time of year!
