Mount Pleasant Golf Club

Mt. Pleasant is a great course! Challenging, with good openness for less experienced golfers. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. I'll be back!

I played this course growing up so my perspective is a lot different; the trees are taller, the long par 4s aren't as long and the hill on 18 is not nearly as hard to climb. It's still a great value and a challenge. You can tell it gets played a lot, though. The tee boxes were a little rough and, as with any muni, not everyone fixes their ball marks.

Played here while on vacation. Decent layout, definitely from a different era. Greens were incredibly slow, but well taken care of. Course seemed to be in good condition overall. If you're a long hitter, you may hit a wedge into every green on the front. I'd suggest bringing out the long irons for practice of the tee to make it a little more fun.

Had about 3 hours, so I was planning on playing 12-15 holes before a wedding--barely got 9 in. Total time was 2 hours 50 mins on the front nine. Was pushed back by 1 tee time by the starter, then the ranger let a group play through because they were playing in city match play. The clubhouse tried to give me a rain check on another 9, but the computer wouldn't re-print my slip - still, I appreciate the gesture!

Overall, if I had 6 hours, I'm sure it would have been enjoyable, but it was just too slow, even by city course standards.

Nice course and even better value with GN hot deal on a Sunday afternoon. Greens and fairways in excellent conditions, tee boxes and sand traps need a little work. Nice layout, not any great views, but considering history of course recommend adding to the play list.

Played on a really wet day but the staff did a great job keeping it playable and keeping the sand traps fluffy. Only problem was a slow group. Ranger wasn't doing his job moving them along, but was driving around all day.

The course was okay, will probably never go back. I paid to go by myself, they made me get into a foursome, they did not ask me if I wanted to they told me I was doing it. The course is nothing special, not very nice. Okay if you want to get out for a cheap round of golf on a Friday.

It would have been nice to know that half the course was closed for aeration. Then when we got to #10 for the second time, it was being aerated. So we played 17 holes.

This place can be challenging due to design and hardpan lies. It is super hilly, so the greens are almost unfair when fast and expect a lot of side hill lies, even in the fairway. Situated at the corner of Pering and Northern Parkways, it is not the most picturesque setting, but this is the most challenging public course in the Northern Baltimore area.

I hadn't played this course in 3 years. The course is one of my favorites in Baltimore. Always well maintained and the layout is great. Will always return.

I live in NYC now, but spend time in Baltimore from time to time.
