Paint Branch Golf Complex

This is a great course for beginners and folks with limited time for a round. 9 holes can easily be played in under 90 minutes as a solo. Greens and fairways are currently in great condition for a municipal course. I've only played twilight rounds but pace of play has not been an issue so far.

If you're looking for a challenge, this isn't it. Fairway lies are pretty flat on every hole with very few bunkers. Greens rarely break more than a foot. The longest par 4 is 352 yards from the tips. 2 are shorter than 300. Par is 31/62.

Executive, short course with nine holes doubled up to give you 18. Good course for beginners, kids, or folks wanting to work on their short game.

The course is a great beginners course. They do lots of upkeep. The ranger was super rude literally from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Multiple groups mentioned how rude he was to them to. It’s a shame because the course is really nice. I wouldn’t go back

Fun, beginner friendly course. That means a lot of beginners, which slows down the pace of play quite a bit. I could see that making for a frustrating experience for more experienced players, but I played with a friend who had not played in several years and it was perfect for us.

Nice flat, short course for beginners and an easy round to practice on for experienced players.

They won’t pair you up so if you’re somewhat intimidated by other players or being rushed, you won’t have that problem here.

Great little nine hole track. Well maintained muni course. Terrific folks working at the Branch. No complaints at all. Great value.

My wife and i took our grand daughters for first golf course experience and truly had a great time with them as they played and enjoyed the game

This course is Extremely short. It has a lot of Par 3s tucked into 9 holes. The condition of the course was pretty nice. I went after a lot of rain, so there was a lot of water and some very soggy ground, but overall not bad for a public course. There is a lot of opportunity for more aggressive play and accuracy when teeing off. The difficulty is not very high, so it’s beginner friendly. The pace of play is atrocious during peak hours, though. A lot of inexperienced layers and back to back to back Par 3s can cause some serious backups where there really shouldn’t be any issues.

The ranger on this course was very nice and helpful.

I've been going to Paint Branch for over a year now. Love it! Staff is wonderful and the course is challenging.

If you’re looking for a quick 9 with low hazards and easy access to tee times look no further. It’s simple, clean, and friendly. Sometimes gets busy early on the weekend but just play with pace and courtesy and you’ll be fine. Folks working here are great. For the money you can’t beat THE BRANCH.
