Overall good

But the staff asked me whether walk or ride, I said it depends on the other parties. It turned out I have already paid for the cart, but they still charged me 10 dollars for the ride. With a buck of balls. I spent around 40 bucks for nine holes, and this was with GolfNow membership.....

Beginner Golfer

First time playing the course and third time going out to play. The course was very clean, regardless of people saying the issue with geese poop(didn’t see any) the staff was very friendly the course was easy to read signs and follow the directions. Tee boxes were clean and very minimal divots. Greens had good pace.

Wet Day, but can't beat the price

Look, no one is spending $10 for 9 holes and expecting to play Augusta. However, I really don't know how you can complain for $10. 4 Par 4's and 5 Par 3's, with 2 of the Par 4's being 340+ from the Blue tees, which means I can use my driver.

Fairways are meh but the greens are actually in pretty good shape.

3 practice holes as well means I can really work on medium/short range as well as a driving range.

I do not think there is a better value golf spot remotely close.

Nice course but too much goose poop!

I first played this course on 4/5/2018. The time of year may explain the course's condition. It was covered in goose poop! Gross!

Walked

your basic flat muni 9-hole

This is a decent little course if you're just learning or if you're an intermediate player who just wants to get out and hit some balls and walk around. The grass and greens are usually in good shape though the course is at creek-level and occasionally gets wet. It's completely flat but still most of the holes are a decent challenge for even a moderately-skilled player. Mostly Par3's with a few Par4s sprinkled in, just one 400 yard hole, with some water on 3 holes. Still that's 3 water-shots and 3 decent drives out of 9 holes with a good mix of irons on the rest. Plus it has a nice covered driving-range and a decent pro-shop. You're not going to want to drive 50 miles to play here and it will not compete with any of the area 18-hole courses, not even with Sligo, but it's not bad and the price is commensurate.
