This course is well kept.
Very nice course. Would love to play it when it is not so windy. I utilized a cart and would prefer the carts to allow you to drive closer to the tee boxes as well as enabling a bit more space before they shut down.
Solid course. Currently in good shape.
Course is in great shape overall. Greens looked well maintained and rolled true. This isnt the longest course in the area, but the layout is really fun and provides plenty of challenges. Perfect day for fall golf.

Course staff didn’t honor my Golf price
I booked a Tee Time for 7:30am that was priced at $66 per player. The confirmation on the app said I would owe $132 at the course (for two players) which included 18 holes and the golf cart was included as well. I go to check-in at 7:00am and the staff member said I owed $198. I show him my reservation on the Golf Now app and he says he can’t honor the Golf Now price at $132 despite seeing my confirmation. After an embarrassing debate, I proceed to just pay because I drove an hour from home to get to the course. I then leave the club house and I’m hot, but still ready to just start playing. The staff member comes outside as I’m getting ready to play and wants to discuss the matter further. I let him know that it’s over, and I really don’t care anymore. But he insists on telling me that the price I paid didn’t include Golf Carts (which he charged $21/player on my receipt). I follow up by showing him the cart and taxes included note on the Golf Now app and now he’s speechless. This course should be honoring my Golf Now price, or I’d like the $100 back that I paid for the Golf Now+ membership.
Great Value but greens aerated
This is the second time I’ve been to Fairway hills this year and their greens were aerated. All I ask is that there’s some kind of notice to let us know before playing. A few fairways were completely dirt in some places. Overall it is a decent course and one of the cheaper ones in the Baltimore/DC area.
An OK Round
Course conditions were ok.
Pace of play was ok.
Friendly staff but slow payment processing.
Cart quit on hole 15.
Overpriced for amenities/conditions/pace.
Other options are far better.
Will be back.
Course is in great shape except for the approach to the par 5 on the back. Love the layout and the course is in great shape for the price. Will definitely be back soon!
Good to play on a weekday, weekends are pretty slow
