One of the best public courses in the area
Even after getting rid of all the bunkers, this course is still very challenging. Prepare to lose a few balls on the back 9 if you aren't hitting your drives straight. The grass hasn't seemed to come back in some spots after winter but the crew seems to be doing a great job working in those areas. Greens are firm, even right after watering. They putt true. Highly recommend playing here.
Solid course
I've played this course a few times, and this is by far the best their greens have been. In the past they were a little soft and slow, but right now they have them firm and rolling smooth. Not super fast, but definitely not slow. Probably about a 10.5. Fairways were a little spotty/bare in spots, but definitely playable. It's a really solid layout on a beautiful property. I don't love how much their greens fees have gone up in the last couple of years, but that's every course. Pace of play wasn't bad, about 4.5 hours on a perfect weather Sunday, so not too bad. Overall, great course and experience.
Worst condition
Poorest conditions I have seen since playing a course, and the still charged $65 and didn’t give a heads up before going out to play. Only the greens and rough were in good shape in my opinion. “Tee boxes” and “fairways” were awful.
Pre tournament warm up
The course was 00degrees but not really very wet. Fairways are still pretty thin. Greens are rolling well and not bad considering aeration was about 3 weeks ago. The greens were pretty hard.?

Thank you for your review. We have had a difficult start to the season as it relates to weather. As the weather is finally improving we are certain you will see much better playing conditions.
Poorly Maintained
I was scheduled for 18 but this was such a disappointing experience I just walked away after 9. Fairway grass is mostly non existent. Crab grass all around the greens. Rough is just unwieldy and does little to fairly challenge the golfer. Tees are riddled with discarded tees, cigarette butts. Staff was very friendly.

Course Conditions/Slow play
Course is in rough shape. Tee boxes are beat up. Fairways have bot grown in yet and the greens were airrated . 5 hour round. The course refuses to hold golfers accountable on pace of play.

Bermuda will pop
Once that Bermuda pops it will be fantastic. Great layout and green complexes. The greens were aerated but that’s needed to maintain green health.
Pretty bad shape right now
The course is in really rough shape. Not sure what happened but the fairways really don’t have any grass. The greens are in decent condition.
Thank you for your review. Please know that when the fairways were renovated we used a warm season turf grass which is still dormant. You can expect better playing conditions shortly.
Crap conditions
Course in absolutely atrocious shape. Dont know how you close a course down to make improvements and they have gone to complete crap in one year
Wait a month
I really like this course but it is in terrible shape. Should not have been full price right now. Greens are patchy and fairways and ruff hard to play off of. I’m sure it will be good in June at least I hope so.

No bunkers.
Overall, course is in good shape. This was my first time playing it since the redesign.
