The tee boxes were a mess, did not look nice at all. The bugs were crazy it was like nats and flys swarming around your head all 18 holes.
Great value
Course was very wet due to recent rains. Greens are in fairly good shape. They are a bit slow and not flat.
Major changes
I am impressed with the big changes at Maple Rub - new pro shop, new carts with GPS, better cart path, tee boxes and fairway conditions are much better except some puddles on fairway on Hole 13, 15 and 16 due to overnight rain.
Usually, the greens are slick and fast.
Great course with a LOT of new improvements
It’s great to see all the improvements being made to an already great course!
Fun course
Huge improvements over the past few years! Had a great time even in upper 50’s and rain. Will play again!
Pace, and tee boxes need work but other wise great value
Love the course, they could use a starter people play out of turn and mess up the pace. Some of the tee boxes need to be leveled other overall if you got plenty of time and want a great around with amazing views this is the course for you
Course has come a long way since last year under new ownership
By a housing development & woods
While it has potential - they need a marshall there as anything goes seemingly. Very different plus inconsistent feels & conditions throughout the course. A bit of Jekyll & Hyde going on there with some of course being by housing development which I dislike a lot & lowlands by woods - very wet. I would say give it shot if you just into spring more. Felt like I may have caught them earlier than it should have been conditions wise for the early season/off season cusp. Drainage is an issue in too much of the course. Not feeling it is worth the over an hour trip to go back there.
A lot of improvements taking place here. I look forward to playing this summer.
Comfortable and beautiful place
The staff is friendly and the course is comfortable. The scenery is amazing!
Course condition
Maintenance has to be some time, so at the end of winter is reasonable. It will be an improvement after the winter updates. I'm looking forward to playing it again when it is back to full service.
I get it’s winter but…
First time playing the course, no tee boxes I understand it’s winter but the temp tees were in the first cut of rough and extremely uneven this made hitting off the deck and a tee a lot more difficult. Greens were in good shape.
