About
Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

Nice course
Nice course with a great mix of par 3, par 4 and par 5 holes ensure a pleasurable round for all skill levels
Wow!!
Cart has gps. Linked it with my music. Course is beautiful. Got it on golfnow for $53 for both my son and I. The one downside was my son beat me by 4 strokes. Great day!!
Had to book with GolfNow per the course’s instructions. Booked a foursome less than 24 hrs from tee time. One guy ended up not making. Course was not willing to to give me a rain-check for the guy that couldn’t make it.
Fantastic Course
The course is very well maintained and laid out. My only observation is that the greens were extremely slow. My only complaint is that they charged me $25 to let my college student child drive for me. I might understand it if they had to send three carts with a foursome, but they didn't. They sent me alone. I think it's just cheesy and poor customer care.
Best Value
Glade Valley is a beautiful play to play with farm and mountain views all round. The course is in fabulous shape. Greens were great and repaired ball marks on every green that other golfers made. Greens on every course now have divots which are the responsibility of the golfers who made them, but sadly ignore them without regard to those who follow.
Up and coming
The greens and fairways were in great condition. The new owner is taking pride in his course and it shows.

My son and I played a round at Glade Valley and had a wonderful time! Staff was professional and courteous and we will definitely be back!
