Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

Don’t let the good deal fool you… nice course and people and was a 3.5 hour round. Shot an 85 which wasn’t great but the green were rolling quicker than I initially thought!

Pleaasantly surpised

Course was in great shape even later in season when most are pretty beat up. We teed off at 6:50 am and there was heavy dew but burned off quickly and didnt affect play too much. Fairways are a bit narrow in places but really a great overall course. The whole group enjoyed and wants to return. Breakfast transfusions were spot on too haha!

Great course. Great value.

Grass in in great shape. Most bunkers are very good. A few tee boxes need help. Most greens are excellent but a few folks don’t fix their ball marks.
