Great course always in great condition can’t beat the price especially if you can get deal on golf now or tee off
Great course
The pace was a bit slow but that is to be expected on a Sunday holiday weekend. Always enjoy this course, greens were a bit slow but it is in great shape. Low handicappers might find it a bit easy but mid to high handicappers will enjoy it!

The course itself was great. Well maintained and a lot of very attainable and well layed-out holes. Me and my friend’s issue was the guy letting out the carts who was the rudest person I have ever encountered at a golf course. He very rudely demanded a receipt and when I told him I had misplaced it and I could show him my PREPAID reservation confirmation on my phone with the date and everything he said he needed a receipt or we don’t play. I eventually found it and gave it to him and he made fun of me for misplacing it (after no one told me I had to hold on to it). He then gave us issues for being 15 minutes EARLY to our tee time. He then paired us with another two-some, which was fine, but then immediately let out a non-paired up two-some half-way through our first hole who caught up to us within a hole or two. He made fun of us for our lack of experience and was just a generally miserable guy. I wish I could recommend this course to others because it is a decently well done course, but from what I’ve heard that guy is a huge reason people don’t come back so I would say skip this place and go somewhere else decent in the area. Rochester golf club, for example, is like 5-10 minutes away and is a much better atmosphere and great quality golf for under 20 dollars. It will be better for your money and you won’t have to deal with some miserable man killing your mood the second you walk out of the clubhouse. I don’t know how to describe the guys appearance but just stay clear of the old guy who radiates unhappiness, that’s probably him.

How can you not like this course. It is an terrific shape, very challenging and enjoyable. Staff is always very friendly highly recommended. This is a gem of a course
Acushnet River
Hadn't played Acushnet in years. Always a favorite of ours, great condition, pleasant staff, challenging course. We played in 4:15 which I thought was pretty good. We'll be back soon..
Fun Layout in great condition
After nearly 2" of rain the day before we played I was somewhat concerned we would have a lot of cart restrictions as one of our group is HC. When we checked in and asked about any restrictions they said the course drains great no restrictions other than where posted on par 3's and certain sensitive areas. The tee box had been closed on one hole shortening it to a par 3, not due to rain but other needs. Greens were receptive, of moderate speed and the overall conditions were great. Everyone enjoyed their round and look forward to playing here again.

Terrible Fathers Day Experience
Arrived to our teatime 10 minutes early and started 40 minutes late. As we were being kicked off of whole 14 because of time, management made sly remarks to the players.
“ what are we supposed to do about our last four holes“
“Write par on your card”
Upon arriving back at the parking lot, we found 3-4 other groups unhappy with a similar experience they had. Save your time and money these people don’t care about either of the two.

One of the best municipal courses around!
Nice Conditioning at Acushnet
Walked up and played. Joined two older gentlemen and we had a nice round. Had a 4 in front of us which didn't quite understand the need to stay close to the group in front of them. So we were delayed continuously from 2nd hole on while they never waited.
The course is in great shape. The only complaint as a walker is going to the open field side is a 1/2 mile walk.
Design wise. The 16th hole has the 14th tee box substantially in the field of play if you endeavor to fly the trap on 16.
This place is well run and very busy. Glad I made the visit.
