OK for a Quick Round
A nine hole Executive course with good greens and otherwise OK condition. It's short but requires good course management as many holes are tight and the footprint is small,
Great Spot, fast play
This was an excellent course to play. Though technically an executive course, it really did not feel that much shorter than other courses. What it might have lack in difficulty in the form of average hole length, it makes up for in hazards and the difficulty of the greens.
The greens were in amazing shape. They were very fast and had lots of different slopes to it. It will challenge your ability to read greens and the pace of your putt.
Good for What it Is
Berlin is a 9 hole "Executive" course. It's well maintained and more challenging than the short length would suggest due to tight fairways and small, sloping greens. Footprint is very small resulting in balls from other holes sometimes going into your fairway. Overall, not a bad option if you don't have a lot of time or money.
Danger Golf
Several years ago this was a good deal golf course but since the pandemic it’s nice to see that all courses have taken complete advantage by substantially increasing prices. Course layout has all holes shooting at each other like the Wild West. Hate to complain but if you don’t improve your course but continually increase prices how is that ok?
Best bang for the buck
You won’t find a course to play that’s not a par 3 course that’s this affordable. Also, it has better conditions than quite a few other courses in the area. However the greens could use some help especially 5 which has a drain grate in it and 6 has several burnt groves through it. Otherwise very nice course for very short money
Pronunciation
It's BURR-lin not Ber-LYNN in Germany. I don't know how many hills there are in Berlin, Germany but there are lots of ups and downs on this course. The elevation changes on every hole. The greens are not undulating, but they have slopes and were faster than I expected for March. The 4 of us had longer second putts than the first ones .No par 5s, short par 4s between 264 and 332 and 3 short par 3s, 108, 127 and 133. Nice place for my first round of the year. Knocked the ice off the clubs. An accurate driver of the ball can have wedges into the greens all day. Great place for an enjoyable 9 holes. Staying below the hole is a must. no down or side hill putts!!!
Solid 9 hole course
Good value and easy to play. Walked and it took about 2 hours. Not a difficult course but was a good time all around
You Get What You Pay For
It is always cheap here and there is a reason for that. It is a small course with the holes all being pretty much on top of each other, including some shared fairways, The tee boxes are horrendous for the most part, the fairways are okay, and the greens are fine (Other than #6, which they call a green but is really a joke). It is a good course for beginners or those that want to hit some practice shots for less than the cost of a bucket of balls at most driving ranges.
