#2 at Ponkapoag Golf Club

Golf course in name only. Huge waste of time and money. Fairways are 1.5 inches. The greens had rocks and dirt for the most part. Stay away

Worst conditions imaginable, and guy didn’t want to honor golfnow deal, said it was too late to take cart on back nine at 4:30 pm.

There is a reason why this is rated one of the worst courses in the Country. What an absolute joke. There can't be another course in the world with conditions this bad. I don't even think that they are trying anymore.. Some holes didn't even have a green. They weren't just temporary greens because the old wasn't even being fixed. There were some greens that had a new hole cut, but they never replaced the soil and turf in the old hole. Tee boxes all suck. Even the golf carts are terrible don't be drawn by the low price and available. You are much better off not playing golf then playing golf here the commissioner of the DCR Should be ashamed of himself. This course should be sold to a private entity or to the town of Canton so they can run a decent municipal golf course.

Greens were very poor and nonexistent on a couple holes. Drainage issues all over. No bunker rakes. I enjoyed most of the layout, many beautiful trees, and I believe this course has lots of potential with the right investor and/or management.

The course was very nice but we were unable to use the golf carts i pre-paid for online so I would like a refund for that. Other than that it was fun

The course isn’t in great condition, but would be worth the price if the greens were taken care of at all. With the rain we’ve gotten the rest of the course isn’t terrible but the bare spots on the greens made it just a practice round

I’ve been playing Ponkapog for over 10 years and course 2 is always in rough shape. This year was different. It is not in bad shape just a little over grown and some bad spots on the green. But for the price this course is worth it and the staff was super friendly.

I don’t think this place even has a grounds crew. The greens have mounds of dirt in them. Snack shop was not open on a Saturday in May but staff will yell at you for bringing drinks on - how am I supposed to buy drinks when you are not selling any? Course has lots of potential but is poorly managed.

Greens on front 9 of course 1 were unplayable. Basically putting through sand traps.

This course is the equivalent of a stray dog afflicted with mange.
