Gardner Municipal Golf Course

My favorite Muni in Central MA. Course is in great condition the greens were awesome as usual. The course has done a great job maintaining the course including “new” cart paths on holes 5 & 13. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Will be back

Players need to familiarize themself with the rules of the coarse. Slower player should let faster players play through. In order to keep the pace of the play moving smoothly and to eliminate the coarse backing up. example: a team of four should allow a team of two faster players to play ahead.

The course is in good shape, it has some rough spots but overall good and fun to play. The greens are fast and rolling true, some wet spots on fairway.

Greens were good condition and fast. Fairways and tee boxes chewed up from a lot of play. Need some major work.

Overall not bad for the money

The course is in great condition and you can’t get a better rate for the value. If I was forced to pick a complaint, it would be the cart paths. They also offer veteran discounts!

The course is very wet, lots of roped f areas due to rain. This course is in reasonable shape, but has lots of water logged areas, does not drain well. Greens are in good shape and it is fun to play with a variety of shots.

This was a day well spent. Nice big tee boxes. Fairways very well kept and the greens were a really nice size and quick. A few interesting holes on the back nine with lots of elevation. The pace of play could be improved as did not see any marshals on the course. Practice facilities are across the street from the golf course a little odd as you cannot bring golf carts across the street. They do have a restaurant on site however no AC and it was quite hot the day we golfed. There is a patio which seemed nice but rain was on the horizon so did not stay. Would definitely recommend this course and would play again.

The course is in good condition with good tee boxes, good greens and groomed fairways. Some holes are challenging with the hilly conditions and several par 3s are long! Cart paths do not exist on most holes . It was an enjoyable round and certainly good value for the price.

The course had average conditions but has a nice layout. Every hole is different. The pace of play was terrible! I understand it was a gorgeous day on a holiday weekend but the pace was that of a snail. The course would greatly benefit from having a ranger!

The course is good, several areas are wet and marked, greens are a little slow but are getting better as grass is growing again. Good course to play, front nine is more flat, back nine is a hard walk, more hills.

A good round of golf was ruined when our fourth’s clubs were stolen from the bag drop at the cart corral area as we were inside the restaurant. The cameras pointing at the area are not hooked up to anything, so it was a total loss. If you’re going to be sticking around, please don’t leave anything unattended - take the time to get back to your vehicle and lock everything up before grabbing some food.

Course could be interesting to play when it dries out but right now its a swamp on some holes!
