Always love playing here
Was a member for a while and have always enjoyed the course. Great greens and lots of fun, price can't be beat too.
Happy ro get at least one round in this year since moving away. Hoping to get back one more time this season
Front is better than the back!
The back has some extreme hills no matter where you land your lie is going to suck. More rocks, roots and bare spots on the back as well. Greens are very nice and take some getting used to. The layout is decent. I traveled an hour to play it, probably won't play it again.
Gardner municipal
It is fun to play for a municipal. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The course had some rough area especially around the greens. Overall, love the layout and course.
Challenging Golf
This course is a true New England gem in the tradition of Donald Ross and Geoffrey Cornish. The front nine is a friendly open course with a nice design with some hilly terrain. You can definitely score low here. The back nine is a testament to a true New England “Billy Goat” course with steep hills and side hill lies it will test your skills. The slope from the whites on the back nine is 128 but I think it plays to the 130 range. The greens are in good shape as well as the tees and most fairways. This is a very pleasant course built in the woods with no homes abutting the fairways. I will definitely play it again soon.
Solid Course
Fun, friendly, and getting better all the time. Keep up the great work!
Great Muni
My favorite Muni in Central MA. Course is in great condition the greens were awesome as usual. The course has done a great job maintaining the course including “new” cart paths on holes 5 & 13. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Will be back
Golf etiquette
Players need to familiarize themself with the rules of the coarse. Slower player should let faster players play through. In order to keep the pace of the play moving smoothly and to eliminate the coarse backing up. example: a team of four should allow a team of two faster players to play ahead.
Good course, fast greens.
The course is in good shape, it has some rough spots but overall good and fun to play. The greens are fast and rolling true, some wet spots on fairway.
