Highly Enjoyable Late in the Season!
This season has seen it all from a weather stand point. Droughts, torrential rain, scorchers and early chills…. The grounds crew has kept the course in phenomenal condition. Our group had a great time and other then the snack bar having a limited selection at the turn, we had a blast!
Better than expected.
Course was in nice shape (greens aerated a few weeks before). Very walkable. Decent test from the blue tees. Played in 4:15 on a weekend. Snack cart came around repeatedly. All good.
Beautiful Course in the backroads
First time playing here today, course was gorgeous. I never write reviews, but this course truly surprised me. If it wasn't so far away, I would join as a member! Greens were aerated but that is expected this time of year.
Course was challenging, but also fair. Hit your shots straight, and play some target golf, and you'll love the course!
great course
Great course and layout staff extremely friendly and helpful. Greens were punched recently other wise I would have given the course a 5 for conditions
Loud Music
The 4-some behind us had loud music playing the entire 18 holes. That is not fair to the surrounding players. Whatever happened to golf etiquette? The course should make that clear to all players at the start.
One of the best courses in Mass
A gem of the SouthShore , any golf enthusiast will enjoy the layout & quality of these well kept greens. I promise you it’s worth the drive off the highway
Fast Greens
First time playing here. Course was in great shape. Very good layout but the greens were the star of the show here. Fast, undulated and well protected. Would need to play here a few times to score well. Mix of doglegs and you will need every shot in your bag. Very impressed. Won’t find better greens around here that the public can play and yes, that includes pine hills.
Nice course but slow
Halifax is a nice course with very good greens and better than average tee boxes. The staff was super friendly but the pace of play was very slow, and no sign of rangers to speed things up.
Greens Fast & Tru
Great pace of play at 3.5 hours. Greens were superfast and tru!

Halifax has become my favorite course in light of my best ever 74!
Given the current drought conditions it was in good shape especially the greens and tee boxes.
Glad they had senior tees (gold) since it was very fair considering how short I hit the ball now that I’m 73.
