Always in good shape and the greens run true.

Great shape
We played from the white tees which is a good test especially on the back nine. Course was in nice shape.
Love Halifax cc. Pace of play is an issue
Great golf course. Greens are fast but fair. Pace of play was an issue, partially due to cart path only. But the group ahead of us had a 2-3 group wait behind them. They were so slow and no ranger in sight to tell them to keep up the pace. Still love Halifax and will definitely return.
Need Clubhouse Amenities
The course was in very good shape considering that there has been a lot of rain recently. In the past it seemed that most of the people working at the course were not happy to be there and their treatment of customers was reflected in that. There appears to be some new employees, mostly women, who are changing that perception. Also, the amenities during and after your round are severely limited. Limited beverage selection, and almost no food, doesn't really entice anyone to hang around after a round. They need to step up that program.

I have played CCH many times. I always had looked forward to playing there. In short, owner/management, i hope you make it out of this funk you are in right now. Until I hear that you have, I will not be returning. Best of luck.

I hadn’t played Halifax in over a decade and my return trip did not disappoint. The conditions were near-perfect everywhere except for fairway bunkers, which were a little rocky. Not an overly-long course, but it challenges you to put the ball in play and make sacrifices (lots of slight dog legs). Course is flat and can easily be walked for those that are able (we took a cart). Staff was very friendly and attentive at all points during the round. We will be back soon!
