Only thing that would make this course better is being able to grab a bite to eat at the turn or after the round. Other than that it is an amazing course and is always in amazing shape.

Course played well considering it is mid-March. Temp was around 50. Some fairways were mushy but no standing water. Greens were sandy but rolled well for first day of spring.

Nice course in great shape for the fall. Friendly staff. No pull carts so carried my bag (ouch, should have rented cart). Restaurant was closed and very limited beer selection or availability.

They need to hire some marshals to shepherd people through the course. Too many elderly walkers who can’t or won’t play fast enough to make it an enjoyable round. Either make them take carts or ride herd on them to play at an acceptable pace.

enjoy play from senior tees. play was real slow 5 hour round.alot of standing around waiting too hit.

sand traps need some work and many tee boxes closed but overall good course.

Other than there was no food availability throughout the day , it was a a wonderful day of golf . I was a single on arrival but was paired with one member and two other non members , all very nice gentleman. We waited minimally during the round and the conditions of the golf course were excellent. Nice weather was a plus ! For the money ( $95, including cart) it well worth it . Yes, I would definitely go back and I have no reservations recommending Halifax to someone else . Next time , I will bring a sandwich….

Course has 4 different tee boxes. Many of the holes, Gold and White tees are very close. Fairways in very good shape. Bucket of balls for $10 - driving range with practice bunker, chipping green and putting green great for warm up before round. Pro shop has drinks, but bring your own snacks as no snack bar at turn. Very good value.

Halifax has been a quality venue for many years hosting many amateur tournaments, some since the 70’s when I first started playing there occasionally. It did not let me down this past Sunday .Conditions were excellent. The staff I encountered, from the proshop, to the starter, to the bartender , were very friendly and accommodating.

Because of the season’s end , the halfway house was not open, so food availability was limited . Other than that , it was a great day of golf . I was a single and played with 3 golfers I did not know with varied golf abilities. We had very nice 41/2 hr. round of golf, laughs, and camaraderie. As usual, you most likely are going to meet nice people on the golf course …….

Beautiful weather didn’t hurt either .

Very nice golf course. A bit of a drive for me to get there but well worth it. Of course amenities were minimal. Not really any snack options except chips. Would have liked some coffee given a chilly afternoon. Overall pleased with the conditions. Probably some of the nicest tee boxes I have seen post hot summer burn out. Challenging course. Will certainly return.
