Worth the long drive
Had a wonderful day playing; however, the temps were chilly and I lost a few balls which I shouldn’t have because of the abundance of leaves. Putting the ball slowed down the pace of play. It’s good not many golfers bought golf now’s hot deal.
Course was great condition but maintenance workers have no educate.
I played this course for the first time and it was nice and in great shape, but they were airing out their sprinkler systems understandable here in New England winter is coming. Unfortunately the maintenance work followed me on every while turning on the sprinklers on all 18 holes. Sometimes in the tee box other times in the fairway hitting myself with rusty water and the noise was so loud my ears were ringing by the end of the round. It was a real shame like I said the course was nice but was unable to enjoy the round due to dodging sprinklers and the obnoxiously loud noises coming from the sprinklers that were less then a couple feet away on some parts of the course.
This Course is Hilly but Fun
Played 18 holes and this course is maintained very well. It has large hills, draws, some water, many bunkers, etc. so it is challenging but most holes have open "landing areas" for your drives. The fairways are lined with trees on both sides but there is very little brush or growth underneath so wayward drives can usually be found easily. I've played this course numerous times when on the Cape and it is always fun. Highly recommended.
Greens are excellent
Place was in great shape got stuck behind some slow players but all turned out fine great place for all around players I’d recommend it to anyone
Food Truck :)
Overall, the course was on the easier side. Very tight on many holes, but many longer holes play downhill. Course was in excellent condition. Fairways and Greens were good. Huge Rocky bunkers should be avoided.
Trouble with the pro shop
I originally made a tee time for 2:06 for three to play 18 holes and paid $177.00. I was playing with my Grandson 12 and a friend of his I had never met. The friend of my grandson belongs to another course owned by the same company and there was no charge for him as he used his member number. In addition I had asked if I could adjust to just play 9 because of the weather and was told I could on a phone call to the pro shop prior to arrival. When I got to the pro shop the man on duty said he could not deal with any of these issues because I had mistakenly booked my tee time through Golf Now. Very unpleasant especially in front of my grandson and his friend. I told the man in the pro shop to forget it, being very frustrated, and then had to almost beg to buy a bucket of balls. Probably will be more careful how I make my tee time if i ever play your course again.
GO PLAY THIS COURSE…….
Great Course… Tee Boxs Were Good Fairways were GREAT an Greens were PERFECT But KINDA SLOW……. They were Nice n Soft !!! Ball Landed like Darts Hit n Stay about 1 to 2 feet Backspin…Food Truck was Good it seemed like a lot of people was getting Food n Custom Beers….. Definitely worth 1 hr Ride to….. A MUST GO TRY ……. It is THEE GREATEST GAME ever PLAYED……….⛳️
The course was in very good shape. The clubhouse wasn’t open, and there were no amenities which, if I had known in advance wouldn’t have been a problem. I like the track and I like the pace of play in the greens Were very difficult and fun
First time
Course had decent layout and fairways some good some patchy but overall pretty good. Looks like many golfers don’t like repairing their ball marks on the greens . My fellow golfers if you can’t replace your divots and repair YOUR ball marks on the green do us all a favor and stay home or read up on golf etiquette. It was worth the hour drive though . I’ll be back.
Great day so so weather
It was cloudy and drizzly but, tennis were good. We got stuck behind some jamoke trying to teach his girlfriend how to play. That took me right out of the rounds for the first few holes... other than that it was a great day on the course. All the rain this year had the course in great shape! It is a slog to walk though. Even with an electric cart. Lot of hooks l hills and few long walks between holes. Riding, it's great!
Great value on the Cape
We were pleasantly surprised to find out the course was in excellent shape and a great layout. We were able to complete our round in 3 1/2 hours. The staff was great and friendly. Only downside was lack of area to have lunch or a beer afterwards. Due to construction the clubhouse and pro shop are closed. But when construction is completed it will be a great facility.
Re nice fairways, portajohns and slow play!
The good first
Got paired up with another couple that were super nice and a joy to play with. The fairways were very nice but found the greens to be a little quirky but that's not to say they were bad though would have helped if people replaced their divots
Cruised around the front in a little over 2 hours. Then we hit the back and it was a standstill. Took us almost 3 hours to play! Not sure what the happened, but we did bump into someone who worked there and he said that he would go tell the people that were causing the three-hole Gap to speed it up. However, I don't think that ever materialized and if you saw it in the first place, why wouldn't you have said something particularly if you work there?
Funny thing is in the carts it talks about the pace of play and how much time you should spend on each hole and how much time it should take you to complete a round yet. Not sure who actually enforced this?
The other nice thing is it would have been good to know that there were only porta-Jons because the clubhouse is shut down so there are no restrooms.
I don't think I'd play there again only because I don't like to spend 5 hours on a golf course.
