First the greens are in horrible shape, bare spots and sand abound, not sure if there was one completely unblemished gree. The sand traps are really gravel, you could scar your club. Also course directions for holes are miserable, good luck finding number 13. Also just because you are a member does not give you the right to be confrontational and vocally abusive. I will never play this course again.

Absolutely awful conditions. No staff working, poor dude worked alone at the bar and out in the garage. It was a sunday morning, place was completely empty no golfers anywhere. $80 plus a credit card fee, was expecting great conditions but I couldn't even believe how bad the greens, tee boxes, everything was just brutal condition.

Such a fun course but conditions were unbelievably bad and had one staff person working.

I had played Lakeville CC many times about 10 years ago and the only complaint was the volume of bugs/mosquitos. The course was in decent condition. But when I played there on 4/10/22, I was completely disappointed they would charge $73 for the current condition of the course. The greens have weeds everywhere. The ball doesn't roll, it bounces all the way to the hole including 2 foot putts. Then when we made the turn, we found the back nine greens recently aeriated and sanded which felt like putting on a beach. They could have at least notified us the greens were recently aeriated and let us make the decision to pay the $73 or leave. In addition, there were some broken branches on some tee boxes and greens. If you are going to charge this amount this early in the season, at least make an attempt to take care of the course.

I've reviewed this course several times and each time it gets worse. Tee boxes non existing, greens furry and flags haven't been moved in at least 2 years, probably last time greens were cut. Sad thing is this use to be a great place to play, fun layout, love 16 and 17 holes, back to back par 3's. They spent all kinds of money on carts with GPS, which are useless because you can't drive them on the course, and they put all kinds of money into the bar area. This course has so much potential but it's just in terrible shape. People say it's because it's public and gets too much play. Ridders in east bridgwater is public, gets just as much play and that course is always in good shape with fast greens. Owner of lakeville should really just think about selling the place to someone who cares.

This should not be called a golf course it is as AWFUL AS ITS EVER BEEN.

With so many bad reviews i almost didn’t come play but early spring, this was the only place to book. I went with low expectations but I didn’t agree with the bad reviews. It was a really fun layout and the course was in fine condition for a public course. Like I said it was early Spring so I wasn’t expecting pristine conditions anyways but the greens were good and receptive. Pretty quick at times. All in all, I just wanted to leave a good review in case anyone else is disuaded by all the bad.

They want 60 dollars to play this dump you couldn't give me 60 dollars to play there.

I’d they would ever maintain just the greens they would have a better experience for golfers . Leaving the greens at a height longer than most fairways is ridiculous

Granted, it’s early in the golf season, but I don’t know if I have ever seen a course in such bad shape. The greens are an absolute mess, and their GPS golf carts really slow down pace of play. I used to be a member at Lakeville, as it used to be one of my favorite courses around. Now, it’s one of the worst around.

THIS IS NOT A GOLF COURSE. THIS IS WEEDS, WITH HOLES, IN ORDER TO SCREW THE PUBLIC OF THEIR LOOT. WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT! THE OWNER SHOULD BE EXILED FROM GOLF.

Course is usually in bad shape and the golf carts there make it an awful experience. Wouldn't recommend even at a hot deal price.

The course has a lot of potential. It has a nice layout and length but… it’s overly priced and overly packed. The time to complete 9 holes was around 3 hours both times playing. Tee boxes are non existent with weeds everywhere on what is left of them. Greens are terrible just terrible. Carts won’t allow you to drive on the fairway. They beep and stop and you have to turn around. It’s just the craziest and most terrible golf outings I’ve had. Lol go somewhere else.

We had played this course before and it was in fair condition. This time we played this course again but the course condition is very bad. The grass on the green are not cut and the greens are covered by leaves. Some greens only have pole without flag. We were very disappointed about this course condition and would not go back if the course has no improvement.
