They Hate Golf Now
I show up with my buddy on a Sunday morning. Apparently, they have a league that goes out early Sunday mornings. Instead of telling us who we are paired up with, the guy in the clubhouse rants immediately how much he hates Golf Now. Course was packed with the Sunday league and the greens and tee boxes were in bad condition. The cart only works on the cartpath....except for the guys in the league that get that turned off. What is the point of carts only if your course was in brutal condition in the first place? Not only that, you turn it off for the league guys because you know them. The only thing redeemable was the cart girl was friendly.
Unfortunately, not good.
Years ago, one of my favorite tracks. Not it’s gone straight downhill. The most I would pay is 12 bucks. It’s that bad.
Disappointed
Tee time for a round of golf was at 11:30 the cost for 4 of us was $42 for 9 holes. The course conditions were horrible. The tee boxes were almost non existent. Pretty much just dirt and the what grass was there had been scalped. The fairways were not much better. Last time I was there 15 years ago that course was in some prime condition and worth the premium price. What you pay now is just a ripoff and very sad for the contain the course is in. The greens were diseased and loaded with sand. Your ball bounced as it tried to make its way to the cup. Just horrible. Now that they let carts on the course I think was a bad idea as the carts slow right down to a stop if you drive on the course and not on the path. You might as well walk the course. I can understand when the course is going thru a maintenance period but it was not. These were the everyday conditions. The very worse part of this outing was that we had to play behind a party of 5 and when I asked the starter in the clubhouse about this she said it was not allowed and would rectify the problem and send the ranger out to break the grouping up. 3 hours and 15 minutes to play 9 holes is ridiculously slow play. At the end of the round I went in to voice my displeasure about the 5 grouping in front of us and slow play and the starter could only say that the ranger just showed up to work. The place is very disorganized and not worth the premium pricing they charge. Not even an apology which was is what I was looking for. NOTHING!!! Very disappointing. They have let this place go. Stay away. Play somewhere else. I have played for far less money at other places and conditions were in pristine condition. Once again, a waste of money
Awful greens. Filthy bathroom. No water pressure. Only one bartender for many customers.
Pricey and bad condition
Lots of potential but this course charges $69 a round (with cart) and was in horrible condition. When I checked in for my tee time I was told they don’t associate with military tee time and there is no military discount.
Worst shape of any course ever played
Greens are just Sand bunkers are terrible pine cones around every Green this course should pay me to play
Worst Course ive ever played
The Grenns where sand no grass the grounds crew was loud and rude the Course S%#cks they should have paid Me $50 to play their piece of crap Golf Course GOLF NOW should check stuff out before they list it I'm deleting their App. What a bad day af Golf
Didn’t play
We weren’t even able to play, the course called me phone and said we could only play 9 holes the back nine was closed and we couldn’t replay the front. I’m not sure how refunds work with golf now but I would strongly like one considering you guys said we were playing 18 and we couldn’t even play 9 we didn’t end up going.
Fun course when in great shape
Charged 70$ for. 59$ tee time. Overbooked. Definitely not worth 70 even if it’s in prime conditions. Too many nicer courses with better layouts and a faster pace of play for that price in the area.
Not worth $60. Probably $20 overpriced especially for winter golf
Good to get out
Played there because they were one of the few clubs open in early March. I had stopped playing there a couple of years ago when they introduced golf carts that made it difficult to get to your ball off of the cart paths. I have two bad knees and when I hit the ball a distance off the path I end up walking. Had to quit after 9 holes because knees were so sore.
Otherwise it's not a bad course. Lots of long holes so your driver and woods get a good workout.
Lakeville
Great layout good condition for January staff friendly overall pleasant experience
In terrible shape
Please stay away from this course!. Horrible greens!
Do not play this course!
The first sense was the smell from what seemed to be manure from a nearby dairy farm. And the men's restroom aroma was not much better.
From tee to green -- The tee boxes were generally non existent or in such bad shape that you couldn't tell what or where they were. In some spots the collection of leaves was up to 2 foot thick and two balls were lost in fairway piles of leaves which also filled most bunkers. Some of the greens were in good shape, although fixing of ball marks was a rarity -- maybe players figures it would improve the course too much -- and the signature 18th green was completely derelict. Nice layout for what could be a nice course, but the condition is too deplorable. Don't bother!
