great value for the money. don't expect pristine tee boxes or smooth first cut / fringe, but it's a great layout and a somewhat challenging course.

Top notch all around except for the tee boxes.

Greens were very good as were the bunkers for the most part . Quite a few figures. Some uphill to green some downhill. Nice mix .

Had an amazing experience at the Country Club of Halifax! The course is beautiful, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the overall atmosphere is great. Everything was well-maintained, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into making the experience enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great country club!

Great course, extremely hot conditions. Water was provided at sporadic stops. Awesome staff. Will be back.

Been playing here for the last 10 years. Course condition is going down hill. Tee box looks like a pile of dirt. Feels like playing rockland golf (which I only played 1x 10 years ago). This club gets a lot of play enough to make it look nice.

One of my favorite tracks in the South Shore. The course is always in great condition with well kept fairways and greens. The staff is consistently friendly and very accommodating. We had a 10:10 tee time and our 4th was running late, so the guy inside let the groups behind us go no problem. Pace of play was well kept with Ranger out on the course and we enjoyed hot dogs and drinks on the back deck after the round. Would recommend to all players!

I have played many courses around the south shore and Halifax Country Club is always one of my favorites to play. The staff is great in directing you where to go, they deal with pace of play well if the course is ever backed up, and the course allows you to use all of your clubs in your bag due to the length. If you never played Halifax before and are around the south shore area, I highly recommend!

I've played a lot of public courses around the South Shore, and Halifax Country Club is always one of my favorites. The course is consistently in great shape, the pace of play is good, and the staff is always friendly. It's a great value, and I always look forward to coming back.

Solid course. Great value. Greens are solid. Roll true and hold approach shots well. Tee boxes are a bit rough and there’s not much sand in the traps. Staff is great though. Will definitely play there again

Not that we are great golfers, but too many people are just clueless as to etiquette. So many people play from further tees when they obviously should be playing more forward tees. Continuous slow play when people are just standing around. As a foursome we were continuously on the backs of a threesome! Rangers should be speeding up the play. 5 hour’s plus to play.

Overall a good challenging course with the tees pushed all the way back. Course is in great shape, the fairways are in great condition and the greens are in superb shape. Alas, the tee boxes are almost bald and could do with a facelift.

Very friendly staff, especially the starter. The amenities are great, driving range close by and a big practice green to boot. I will definitely return.

Plusses: greens, price, pace of play. Minuses: tee box conditions, zero sand in bunkers, zero amenities . No bar, no food, no water on the course anywhere. This course was great back in the day, they’ve got work to do to get back to that

This course has been a favorite of mine for the past years, but not this year. This Course is in terrible shape! The first hole was the only hole that had a grass playable area. The fairways had no grass in 65% of the course at best. I am not sure what happened to this course by it's workers, but I would not play this course again this year, even if it was for free!
