Pleasantly surprised
Great layout, great staff all around on course and bar. Conditions not great but playable. Could use better signage to find tee boxes. Need to paint speed bumps on way in to parking lot.
Yikes!!!!
I would not play here if the gave me 50 bucks!! Stay away!!!
Good time
Great price and a decent course. I will be back
I tried cancelling my tee time because it had been raining here since 5 am and my tee time was 11:10 am. I called the course and they told me it was raining there and it was suppose to rain all day. I called tee off at 10:25 am and asked them to refund my money but was told that unless the course was closed which it wasn't then I could not get a refund. I feel that this is unreasonable because the majority of golfers cancel their round if its going to rain the entire round. Since you refused to return my money, I will never book another round of golf through your website. I am now out 138 dollars.
To much money for the conditions
Not well taken care of. Top prices being charged. Overall interesting layout
Course is Trashed
This used to be a decent course! No longer! They’ve let it got he’ll in a hand basket! Greens are destroyed with disease and burnout. Fairways remind me of the Sahara desert! I will never play it again. Sad to see. It is a decent layout and used to be in good shape and a value. The kicker is they also want to charge for the GPS on the cars! LOL I wouldn’t play this course again if it was free.
First and last time playing (slow beat up and over priced)
First off 70$ for a 140 tee time on a Sunday for this course is borderline criminal. Other corses in the area (with in 20 min of LCC) are far better both lay out condition and amenities wise and are 80$ for a twilight rate. There is no driving rage rang and the cart I had had the GPS system but it didn’t work. The course is not well marked for yardages the tee boxes and upgraded cow fields or dirt parking lots. Got spoken to about bringing a cart to close to the green even tho there wasn’t the usual carts this way sign before it (bad form on my part but wasn’t paying attention) but not enough to be told that I would be fined 20$ if I did it again. Even tho a group ahead of us were wearing jeans and Tom Brady jerseys to play in. Tried calling the clubhouse for pace of play complaint (almost 5 hour round) and got no answer and saw no ranger or cart girl after 3 holes. First time playing this course and will defiantly be my last!!!
Terrible
I have played at dozens of golf courses in the country this was by far the worst course. I have ever played. It was so terrible I almost left after 3 holes. The only reason I stayed was because I was playing with someone out of town. Some one should buy this course on pennies on the dollar and turn it around. No wonder there are so many tee times available.
What a rat course
We could not believe the poor condition of this course. Greens were pock-marked and diseased, rough was very badly cut and the pace of play was maddenly slow. Never saw a marshal to move things along, or greenskeepers to at least groom the traps. Speaking of traps: it felt like you were playing on the moon when you got caught in them. What a shame, because we played here just last season and it was like night and day. Ownership should be ashamed of themselves.
Horrible course
Course lay out is fine; however course maintenance is extremely poor as is the conditions and cleanliness of the golf cart. Course leaves much to be desired. Will not be returning.
Very slow and terrible carts
We had a tee time for 3pm on a Saturday with carts. There was no starter at the course. In fact, the only 2 employees we saw were the bartender and a teenage ranger. From tee off to 7:45, when we couldn’t see the ball anymore we only got 13 holes in. The course was overcrowded. What didn’t help either was the fact that the carts had a gps on them. There were no 90 degree rule signs posted. However, on the first hole we hit the ball to the right side. The cart path was on the left. When we left the path the cart showed 90 degree rule. Return to path. If you went too far the cart shut down and you had to go in reverse at 1 mph to get back to the path. Another group was pushing their cart back to path. No one was working there that could address this. You would have walked less if you didn’t pay for a cart and walked the course. The fact that the carts were so bad also slowed down the pace of play dramatically. I will not be going back.
