Stay away
On the 13th hole writing this review. Mud everywhere, cart died, tee boxes aren’t level and some rag weeds growing through the greens. Spend your 75$ elsewhere.
Nice course
Overall a very nice course. Conditions weren’t the best but the heavy rains we had would make it difficult to mow the lawn Some extremely muddy areas
LCC Thoughts
Booked LCC on here, was easy tone of openings but there's a reason. Shop/bar area nice and friendly. Checked in grabbed a cart and was off! Only signed up for the front 9. Tee boxes in rough shape, fairways and rough in good condition mainly. Ball washer pretty much at every hole and each cart does have a club head and ball washer attached. The sand traps are horrible shape along with the huge, inviting greens which all need complete renovations. Very good pace because not a lot of people want to play there.
Course was wet
The greens need a little work. Overall we had fun. Seems like they are watering too much. Kind of stupid when you lose your ball just off the fairway. This was not the U.S Open. Cut the rough please
The reviews are true, it is that bad.
Fairways like your lawn, ball stops when lands and can be lost in middle of fairway,, confusing layout, worst carts we have ever used anywhere in the world, unfriendly staff, atrocious conditions at some holes, i can go on and on. Save your money go to a movie if this is your only option as it was for us that day.
Wide open course
Had a good time and would definitely play there again
Tired
Understaffed at check in. Computer issues and cards not working. Conditions were lousy. Left after 9 and was hoping for a refund to the 9 hole fee after paying for 18 but bartender is also cashier and she was too busy to bother.
This course was atrocious
The greens haven't been cut in years. It is clear as day the owner is just waiting to sell it. I played here twice once three years ago and the course was ok. Yesterday the course conditions were an embarrassment to golf.
Absolutely gross
Absolutely gross.. I say no more. I wouldn’t play there if it was 5 bucks.
Worst course ever
This is an embarrassingly neglected course that still charges $65 to play. This used to be a fun course and it is now the worst course I’ve ever played.
What Happened ?
This is a course I usually play a few times a year. I was surprised there were so few cars there when i arrived. I was soon to find out why. The lady doing the checkin was great, the highlight of the day. Got to the first tee and saw the shape of it. not good. In fact all the tees were poor, Normally good greens could make up for that, but frankly I dont remember the last time i played on greens this bad. Crabgrass, numerous bare spots. Fairways overgrown with honeycomb and bunkers overrun with weeds.. now compound that with carts that tell you to do the 90 degree rule and when you do 10 yards into the fairway tells you to return to cart path. As an added topper we are playing the 3rd hole look to the fifth and see A FIVESOME mid day on a Saturday, didnt make a putt outside of 3 feet but did hole out on 12 for an eagle. I know I wont be going back this year
Ok for the price
Excellent layout for practice and for family fun as well. Paid $40 w cart but would not pay more. Greens are I just ok shape and tees need work as well. T excellent layout from yesterday Year unfortunately upkeep is lacking. I’m betting he property will be homes somewhere down the road. This course needs a white knight and around $5 M for renovation and soon. Trouble here is the area is packed with golf options and all better quality. Kinda sad having played here decades ago and ran a tournament here as well. Bottom line once per year practice round is enough for any serious golfer say under 12 hdcp.
Lakeville Country Club
The owners don’t seem to care about the course conditions. Lakeville used to be so much better than it is now. It’s a fun place to play but would not pay the full greens fee to play here.
Hole directions
The signage needs improvement on the back nine. Easy to get confused .
