Greens where excellent course is moderate don't go on hot day no air.

Greeted by friendly staff, got a great deal on GolfNow and my daughter and I were paired up with two nice people. Pace was a little slow - players in front were older with handicap flags but we finished in 4-1/2 hours. Didn’t mind because the views are nice and plenty of shade. Holes have risk reward as much as you want. Conditions were near perfect.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Course was plush, hilly and as challenging as you want to make it. Great deal on GolfNow. Had problems previously booking a single but the may have fixed it. Pace was a little slow with some older players but we weren’t in a hurry.

Great course . Needs better signage for tee blocks, you must call ahead at the turn if you want to eat, they will not make food if you just walk into the clubhouse at the turn.

The Pace was horrendous. A foursome in front of our group was terribly slow. They were playing from the wrong tees. Red would have been best. It was hard to find them standing in the fairway for a shot. All over the place. Behind us was a twosome who had ZERO golf etiquette. Hit into our group 3 times, one ball wizzed by my head. Very dangerous. No rangers on the course, pace of play and lack of golfer common sense skills starts with the proshop. Can't risk going there again with older folks. They were very unsatisfied and had an awful time.

Been going to NECC for many years, but the entrance was a clue that something was different...and it was the old 18th hole...it was MAGNIFICENT!...then....

Upon moving up to the parking lot, there was nary a place to park, then was directed, for the first time, to not one but TWO over flow lots...NEVER seen it sooo busy during the week...

Upon checking in, learned there was no tournament, but Tuesday was one of their Sr Discount days, which when added to their Tuesday AM leagues just swamped the parking lots...only to see the momentum show for the PM league play...

All this, was put on context upon the condition of the course as we played our round...to say the condition was excellent, would be an understatement..roughs cut uniformly across the course...greens fast and true...fairways cut to perfection...

In terms of play, you must know which side of the fairways to target, else you will run into some nasty 'rewards' for good shots...the greens were perfect with virtually no divots...so you WILL need a lot of courage to play this course...and accuracy to just get to the greens...and even more once successfully on them...

Do stop in to their food area and try to get outside...the view is amazing...

Best I have ever seen this course condition...

It was 2 hour to sunset ,, there practice facilities are 1/8 of a mile away near the 10th tee,,, no where near the first tee!!!!

So I use my pull cart ., when I finally get there (hot out) ,.this man comes over to me and says I need a collared shirt!! I say can I be ok for today ? a couple of hour to sunset ,,, he says NO but I can give you a ride to my car 1/8 of a mile away, back to my car ..me being stubborn,, I say no >thank you !!!!!BYE ,,, then I walked backed to my car I felt like passing out,. From the heat.

ALSO My opinion about this place , very much ,,obey our rules or else ,, always 2 golfer slots when making a tee time ,, very strict on the 2 people to a cart ,I get the impression that there customer base is so high that there attention to customer service is lacking..,!! IM NO LONGER A CUSTOMER

Challenging course despite mostly straight/straight forward holes. Nice elevation changes and small but plentiful bunkers. Greens were very fast and staff told me it’s the norm. They were mowing while we played, but staff was courteous about it. Some soft turf, but it’s October and the course was in solid shape. Clubhouse had showers, lockers and good food. Solid. Would play again.

Other than not having gold tees for a short hitter like myself. I have 0 complaints and enjoyed the round from start to finish.

Took a day off for a nice round of golf. Course overall is nice but we played at 9am and there was lawn mowers everywhere and not only where they inconsiderate of the player they literally would sit in front of the green and stop but not move for you to play. On 17 the guy sat in my line to green for every and wouldn’t move. He ran over my buddy’s ball and move directly in the way of my dad’s line after mine and had headphones in. Once we complained to the clubhouse they didn’t care. There staff are some of the worst people of all time. If you are going to a nice course I’d highly recommend you go somewhere else. Overall one of the worst experiences of my life. If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible terrible staff and way to much money for such a crap experience

New England CC is a solid track that should be played by any golfer living in metro west area of Commonwealth. It has a challenging layout, with several forced carries and risk reward holes. Even though the greens were aerated at the time I played, they rolled well and true. The rough however is too penal for the average golfer
