Just about right
The back nine has more blind shots as well as carry overs from marsh, than the front. Yardages from the white tees were inconsistent from the scorecard, which made club selections on some par 3’s- challenging. Would have liked to see more holes with water coolers, as they were only on the turn at 9, which happened to be where you finished the 18th as well. Pace of play was fantastic as we went out at 950am on a Wednesday and finished by 2pm.
It’s been over 20+ years, since I last played this course- yet it has showed some age over time and with newer courses that have arrived within a 20-30 mile radius, there are some better options to play, for the same price.
Good Course
Got a deal on Golf Now and hadn't played this course in awhile. The course was in good shape. The green were good although not all that fast.
The only complaint I have is that there was no easy way to get something to eat at the turn or on the course.
There was nothing available at the turn and the way the course is set up the pub at the clubhouse is too far to go where you wouldn't have people passing you.
So I shot a good round but was very hungry after....

Nice course - however....
The course was very nice, however, we had to wait for every shot on every hole. We couldn’t get the shop to answer the phone to get a ranger to address the very slow pace - 5+ hours on a Friday with a Noon TT.

cannot beat this course for Hot Deal
This course is the equal or better than any Hot Deal out there. Fairways and greens are in great condition. Very nice layout.

Slow!!
Pace of play was horrible and there was a ranger! A round of golf should never take five hours. The course was pretty beat up too. Greens destroyed with ball marks and tee boxes that had not been trimmed in quite some time. What was once a great track is now a lower tier golf course. If it wasn't for the two gentlemen I was paired with I may not even have finished the round. I doubt I'll be back any time soon.

With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve. Hidden Gem
This is a really great course that is fun to play at an amazing value.. Not to long but some narrow fairways and some really challenging greens to hit.. Lots of hills and long paths so I would recommend a cart.Go play it, you won't be sorry.

First go around
My first go around on the course. Overall a great course. Challenging enough for a decent golfer. Might be a bit much for new players. Greens were consistent and well kept. Def play again.

A challenging track nestled in a tranquil setting.
This was our first time at NECC and it will not be our last. The course layout is interesting and challenging without being crazy hard for an average golfer. The wooded setting was relaxing after a poorly played hole. The greens and fairways are in great shape. The course is a good value.

Great Value !
Courser was in good shape. Only problem was the group in front of us were slow! We had twosome behind us and explained the situation. Course has few rangers to speed up play!

fairways tee boxes & greens in pretty nice shape,a lot of sand traps need major work. did not like mowing&weed wacking while we were playing. the course is an interesting layout but a little quirky probably need to play several times to get used to it
