Disappointing Conditions
Considering youre not allowed to use carts. This course was in awful shape. Pace of play was brutal as well. The guy in the clubhouse is a beauty but wow the course is not worth it
Good place
Walking is a treat, and this course is set up for it. Fairways are OK. We roll-em when the lie isn't good. Greens are variable, but pretty good for the most part.
Drinking Water around the course . A couple of restrooms ( I'm 73, nuff said) Great restaurant. Service, food, practice range, all thumbs up!
Very nice 18-hole run
I would say that is a forgiving course in good conditions eventhough some greens are too slow. Anyway we had a delightful 18-hole-flat run in a sunny day also thanks to the refreshing shadow of the trees spread along all over the course.
All around terrible
Right off the bat the starter (Ed I think) said non-golfers were not allowed, even tho there were some already on the course and their website didn't specify. He let my wife walk with me since we were visiting and didn't know - but told us to make sure we kept up pace...that was laughable. He stuck us in the middle of a ladies league. Close to 3 hour front 9. Greens were bumpy and some had bare dirt! I think the positive reviews must be from relatives of the owner. The restaurant looked nice but I couldn't bare to give this course more money after being treated so rudely. We finally had enough and walked off after 16. Yes it's cheap, so if you're a hacker you probably won't care. If you're a mid-handicap you can play Widows for $7 more on Golfnow.
Great track
Great course with really nice amenities & even nicer people working there.
Vey disapponted
Got tee time from Golf Now. Arrived at course...gentleman in pro shop had attitude which all people I played with noted. Poor course management-threw us in middle of ladies' league and was about three hours for 9 holes. It was minimum15-25 minutes from putting to teeing next hole. Once past league, second nine about an hour and half for a foursome Poorly marked tees...won't be coming back again
Gem for 9 hole quick round
Course was in great shape. Staff were friendly. We walked and felt no pressure behind us. Lunch resturant makes fantastic sandwiches.
Awful
Course in terrible shape. Greens sandy and bumpy. Fairway a mess. But if want to order a drink at the 8th hole turn you can. I guess that’s the priority, not the course. They should have the town of Marshfield take it over and charge $5 a round.
Fits the bill for casual golf
Course was in rough shape. Primarily, the greens could use a lot of attention. Then there was some wet fairways with hole #12 playing as a par 3 instead of the usual par 5.
Having said that, the staff is friendly and I enjoy the overall vibe of the course. Play can be a bit slow, but these days that’s everywhere.
Short and Easy Track but Great Value
This was a very easy course which really only tries to challenge by using doglegs and a couple waste areas. The course is short and open and can really turn into a shooting gallery if you can put a decent tee shot on the fairway. I had a great time and it was cheap so no complaints on my end!
