Bay Pointe Country Club
About
Bay Pointe Country Club was known as Wareham Country Club when it first opened in 1964 up until 1988 when it underwent a major renovation, including the construction of the island green seventh hole, which is the golf course's signature. The club underwent yet another multi-million dollar renovation in 2012 when the club changed ownership. In the most recent renovation, hundreds of extraneous trees were cleared from the fairways in order to get it back into pristine condition. Although it's a seemingly short layout at just over 6,200 yards from the back tees, it actually plays much longer. The first two holes are laid across the hilliest portion of the terrain. Though you have a challenging start, the rest of the Bay Pointe golf course eases into a gentler landscape.

This course has great greens
Tee boxes are in great shape, fairways could have been a little better but still pretty nice, greens very fast that day just the way it should be rolled true..The staff was GREAT very friendly. Would go back and take more friends...Nice job to the greens keeper.....
Thanks Dave T
Baypoint country club
Greens were in excellent condition i.Great value for the money
Disappointing day
First time playing the course. Little to no signage on course about where the next hole is. No signage at 9th on where to find the 10th, which is at the other end of parking lot. What signage was used was spray painted on the walkways. Not sure why every tee had the Blue and White tees the same.
Beer cart was very prevalent (adding to slow pace of play) but never saw a single ranger out on the course. A ranger was needed as the round was over 5 hours.
I had looked forward to playing this course and despite a few unique holes it is a course in need of many improvements. Interesting event was the coyote that walked in front of the driving range and across the 1st hole. A disappointing day. I would not return.
Ongulating greens
Nice course, pace was great late in the day today. The course may not be the longest but don't leave yourself above the pin, the greens were tough. I haven't played in a few years and the place felt like a better course than I remembered. I will be back.
Better than expected
The course plays longer and is more difficult than the scorecard yardage would suggest. There are a couple of long and difficult par 4's and some stout par 3's. The greens were in very good shape. It was a pleasant round with some good challenges as well as some birdie holes. I would play it again if in the area.
Good course for money
Enjoyable round of golf but very rude players out on course and also staff working in clubhouse. If you want to run into friendly people go somewhere else but other than the rudeness good day on the course.
Beautiful Cape Cod setting
Have played here before with and without Golf Now. Golf Now makes this course super affordable whether alone or with a foursome. Have always met great golfers and the course has always been in great shape. The greens are "crazy challenging" Love it and will return often. Yesterday we followed a wild fox for the first two holes...
Decent
Great layout!! But no food on the turn and the staff wasn't very pleasant, fun course for the money
GOOD VALUE AND FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE
P/U tee time on a Sunday PM. Course was almost empty and finished in about 3 hours. MY KIND OF DAY. The course is a challenge and the greens are tricky.
Stay below the hole!
Best condition of greens
Greens were in real fine shape! Probably the best I've played this year including Myrtle Beach.
Great coure
Great course, great deal. I will play this course again no doubt.
Nice course however...
The sprinklers were on green 10, had to call the office to shut off,,, every green thereafter was watered as we played the entire back nine,,, not fun playing on 9 wet greens. Complained to the front desk and the clerk said the owner will contact you,,, it's been 3 days and no word!
Nice layout
Not a bad course for all types of golfers. Has a little of everything.
Great course
Very nice course would suggest to play it a little short but a lot of fun the carts need some help!
Fun challenging course @ 6300 yards
We arrived about 35 minutes before tee time with a group of 4. We booked with the golf now app as I have done before several times. On the course website the round was $58 with a cart, but we grabbed a hot deal @ $25 per person with Cart. Staff was friendly, but had to wait about 20 minutes for a cart as they did not have enough out. Putting green was in good condition and greens were very fast. All the golfers were experienced from handicaps 7-15. Course was in extremely good shape after one of the worst winters in NE history. Fairways, tees, and greens were in great shape for course only being open for 2 weeks. Would definitely playing again or recommend to anybody. If course was in pristine condition mid season I would pay the $60 per round with Cart.
It's all relative & quirky but fun.
First, it was 50 degrees in January, no snow on the ground, and it rained a couple inches the day before. The course conditions were fair as the course was soaked and a few greens were drenched. But then again, we are in the off-season. The course has a few quirky holes that feel like they don't belong but fun to play - par 3 7th like TPC. Pace of play was perfect for me as I finish 18 in 2 hours 45 minutes walking a gently rolling hills terrain. Gentle elevation change made it nice. The only thing that made it tougher to play was the lack of yardage plates and markers thus I was guessing yardages for most of the day. The staff were very friendly as upon my arrival, I was greeted by the head pro Tom. Overall the course is good and interesting to play. If you can snag a deal on GolfNow then do it! Play here at least once!
Poor management
A car was blocking the bag drop at the beginning of the round and at the end.
Spent 25 minutes waiting for staff to figure out our carts.
Went off late, which caused us to finish in the dark.
day after christmas
had a very good time playing this course and wiil come back for sure
