Bay Pointe Country Club
About
Bay Pointe Country Club was known as Wareham Country Club when it first opened in 1964 up until 1988 when it underwent a major renovation, including the construction of the island green seventh hole, which is the golf course's signature. The club underwent yet another multi-million dollar renovation in 2012 when the club changed ownership. In the most recent renovation, hundreds of extraneous trees were cleared from the fairways in order to get it back into pristine condition. Although it's a seemingly short layout at just over 6,200 yards from the back tees, it actually plays much longer. The first two holes are laid across the hilliest portion of the terrain. Though you have a challenging start, the rest of the Bay Pointe golf course eases into a gentler landscape.

Great course hidden away in Onset/Wareham
I play there every year with family and friends and we all love it. The course has come a long way over the years and keeps getting better. The greens, tees and fairways were in great shape. All very green and well manicured. I look forward to playing there often. They give great daily specials and most of all the Law Enforcement Specials is the best! Hopefully the new homes being constructed on the course will be a great addition.
Grounds crew
Only issue our group experienced was the ground crew. They were constantly machine raking during play. I have played here many times and have never seen this. They didn't even stop when we were within range of the greens..
Course was in good shape
We played on Tuesday and had a great time once we got the very slow people in front of us. The greens we in good conditions and rolled true. The fairways were in good shape also. I would recommend this coarse.
Best around
Greens and fairways best I’ve seen this summer, hats off to the grounds crew
Awesome Course
The course was is great condition. The greens were in professional grade condition. The fairways were challenging with the terrain but fun. I has a blast!! Definitely be going again!!
good lay out
tee boxes could use some work but overall course was a lot of fun to play.
I arrived early and was able to start. I was paired with 3 others and had a great time. The coarse was in good shape . The greens were true and in good condition. The club house was staffed with friendly people.
Great Cape cod course..
Challenge yet forgiving course.. a few fun holes to let the driver out of the bag and bomb away, then a couple holes where you need to be smart!! Par 3’s are fun with a little 100yd island green with great scenery!! Recommend this course if you don’t wanna cross the bridge with some good seafood restaurants on the way home...
Great course
Played this course late morning on Friday of the holiday weekend. Course was in great shape as expected for this time of year. Nice layout with a variety of holes ranging from rolling hills and dog legs. The par 3 holes were challenging but fun with courses signature hole a short but very fun. Pace of play was good while finished just over 4 hours. I will make it a point to play this course again.
Definitely a place to go again and again
The staff was wonderful. The only thing I wish was that they had a drinks cart going by once in a while especially since they dont allow coolers.
The course fairways and greens were in excellent shape. The holes were fun to play and were challenging enough without trying to intimidate you.
The golf carts looked like new and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely go again and again.
Excellent shape, great pace, & great course.
Greens in great shape as was entire course. No complaints.
great value
The course continues to offer a good day of golf at a value. Course conditions were good especially considering the weather. When we got took the first tee , it was looking like a 5 hour round but played in 4:05, Very nice
Played for Bay Pointe for the first time in late March. Still traces of snow on course but corse was in great shape considering the weather the last month has been. Tee times running about 15 minutes behind and pace slow first few holes, maybe due to layout with first few holes being a bit challenging and with blind tee shots or second shots. Was only place open so maybe reason course was packed.
Like to play again once the weather improves
Cold but fun
Last minute tee time at Bay Pointe. Fun round on a cold day. Good price for a decent lay out
It is definitely warming up finally. Hope to see you back!.
