A Safari Club Favorite
One of the best locally owned Golf Course anywhere! The owners and there long time staff keep this track in pristine shape year in and year out. So if you have never played this track before, you would be doing yourself a big favor by making a tee time.
Amazing shape
It's hard to believe we're in the midst of a severe drought when playing at Southampton. They have great access to water and have used it liberally to maintain both the course 's fairways and greens. Believe it or not, you don't get much roll out on these fairways.
Very green and very well kept. They do an absolutely fantastic job maintaining their beautiful golf course.
Safari Outing
Nice layout. Fairways were in grate shape. The greens were plugged and a bit bumpy tough to put on. Its open under the trees so its easy to get out of.
Very Nice Course in Excellent Condition
Played this course yesterday with the Safari Club. Very enjoyable round. Course was in excellent conditions from tee boxes to fairways to greens. Considering the dry summer we've had, the Superintendant and his staff is doing a fantastic job keeping the course in such great shape. Several of the greens had been aerated about a week ago, but they still putted quite well. Great value. Interesting and challenging course where it is very evident that the family ownership takes pride in its facilities.
Course green & in good shape
Walked 9 on a late Sunday afternoon, working on the game. Greens in excellent condition, rolling true--overall course, tee boxes to green, are not showing drought stress. Mix of difficult holes and straightforward par 4s, water in play on several holes, lots of elevation changes. Friendly staff, pace great--a few other golfers out but no issue. Saw a fox cross the fairway and stop on 9 as I left the tee--we were both surprised!
Good early of the year golf
It was in good shape for late march. The price was good.
