Slow, but enjoyable
The extremely slow group of three golfers ahead of us led to a 5:15 round. Course was in good shape, although the greens had been punched recently. There are a few blind shots and forced carries. Lots of variety. Fairways generally wide. Sand in bunkers was fantastic for a muni course.
Great value, confusing layout
Overall great experience at Franconia, only complaint is that there’s a spot where 4 hole tee boxes utilize same cart path with some poor signage. Would go back
Great Value
Great municipal course. Challenging yet playable. Great condition as well. Greens are quick and roll true. Second time playing here and I will be back again.
Amazing municipal course
The conditions are excellent and they have made significant investments in the course. The sand traps have been completely redone in past 2 years. Pace of play is great. Well maintained
Municipal Saturday
Played franconia last Saturday. The course is in really nice shape. The people are nice and the course is solid for a municipal! For the price you can't beat it! Play was slow as expected later on a weekend morning. Recommended....
Terrific Tuesday at Franconia!!!
Everyone in our group agreed that the course was a excellent shape. The staff was excellent and very friendly. I'll definitely will play there again this year. Always love the layout, fair, but challenging.
