A+ public course
The course conditions are second to none for a public golf course. Staff are very accommodating! Definitely recommend
Rainy day at Franconia
We played in light rain but the course held up well. Fairways and greens were in good shape. We finished in under 4 hours so pace of play was fine.
Best Muni in Western Mass
My favorite. Love this place. I could play here everyday and never get bored. Great mix of holes and the topography of the property gives the course a great feel. 13 and 18 are probably 2 of the best par 4's in Massachusetts. So much fun and the conditions have improved year after year.

Love Franconia golf course. Course is in it's best shape and the bunkers are well maintained.
Awsome Track
Franconia is a nice course, well maintained and an all around super friendly staff. Would have given it 5 stars but the greens were recently punched and slow; should be great in a month. Also the bunkers not raked although the sand is beautiful. Easy course to walk. Nice layout.
Good value
Nice course. Played a little slow but what course doesn’t on a Sunday in April. Course was in great shape a couple of challenging holes. But I’ll definitely play here again.
The Frank
Course is just about the best shape I've ever seen it, and I play this course pretty frequently in the summer months. Just wish they could get the greens rolling a little faster but they are in good shape. Easy walk, if you have no one in front of you this course can easily be walked in < 2 1/2 hours
Walked 18 hilly holes in less than 3 hrs
Great course, fantastic elevation changes from tee to green. Even open fairways will be challenging with the hills and slopes. Great layout, and a monster of a walk.
Greens were in solid shape, rough was pretty thin, but watch this side hill lies. Would definitely play the course often to tinker with long irons and great pin placement.
One of my favorites!
I play here a lot its very close to my house in Somers. Course always in very good condition, staff takes a lot of pride in keeping course in good shape. Only gripe would be that pace of play can get a little slow. Love the layout great mix of holes.
