The Cape Club

Pace of play excruciatingly slow. Wait times on every tee box after the first hole. Sometime up to four groups on a hole. Slow play certainly a factor but jammed up bookings likely more to blame. For the price would have expected better. I played with a set of rental clubs which were the worst set of rentals I’ve ever seen. Mismatched set with several different brand and vintages (up to at least 30 years old) and dirty from the start. Course was nice and in good shape but that’s not enough to overcome the rest.

Drove 1.25 hours and was worth every mile. Everything from tee boxes to fairways were in great condition. Undulating greens definitely were a challenge. Shot an 85but definitely looking to get back as soon as possible to get another crack at it. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this course.

Fine layout. Excellent greens both in contour and condition. Some similarities

in two of the par fives otherwise wide variety of holes. Many challenging par 4’s. Busy but not packed. Very comparable to a private course experience.

This course checked all the boxes for me—friendly staff, fast pace of play, terrific conditioning, interesting and somewhat challenging layout, plus some very nice views along the way. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

Not really hidden but not talked about enough. Great course great conditions, super staff and an excellent value if you book a "Hot Deal". Actually it's a steal!

For some reason this particular time the pace was extremely slow. Took 5 hours to complete, we were going along great and suddenly were all backed up,(some holes 3 groups were waiting). Have played here several times and this was the first time we encountered such slow play.

Definitely will be back a few more times this season, one of my favorite courses.

I paid for the tee times with golf now but when i showed up with at the pro shop they said i had to pay the fee again because they are different from golf now.

Tried to call golf now for a refund but i have only talked to a stupid robot for the 90s. Im down 250 dollars and its crazy neither side will take responsibility and my amex card shows all the transactions from The cape club and Golfnow.

Lady at the proshop was extremely rude didnt want to help and sId its not her problem.

We had a 2 -some in front of us that could t play golf at all they played front the tips and hit 10-12 shots per hole per players. My only negative of the the day and round was rangers need to tell people about pace of play. It was painful waiting.

We played The Cape Club on a day the sun finally replaced the drizzle of several days. The course was in good shape, though the greens were a little slow and hairy. The course was enjoyable with somewhat challenging elevation changes since we come from an area that is relatively flat. We would definitely play it again.
