The Cape Club

Was an extremely hot day and there were were no on coarse refreshments. They was no mid round place to get refreshments. With the cost of the round I thought there would be access to some sort of snacks and refreshments during play.

The staff was very nice & let us move our tee time back since it was raining. Pace of play was slightly over four hours for three average golfers with a cart path only day so I was happy with that. Course is challenging for a high handicapper but still fun with some great views. Course is well laid out & well maintained. Good day for me & my two sons.

Nice course. Tight fairways. Staff was very unpleasant. We had not one person in front of us and nobody behind us. We totaled a 4 hour round and the rangers were telling us to hurry up every hole. We literally had not one person in sight. It was absurd and they were totally rude. Overall I give it a 3 star from me personally because of the pressure they put on us for no apparent reason.

Course plays tight. Very much target golf, which was fun. Our cart was not great, steering was rickety at best. Pace of play was really slow - almost 5 hrs for a round. And the most frustrating part is there was no one on the course for water or food. Heading to the clubhouse at 10 was less than ideal given the pace of play. Overall, there are better courses in the area that I’d recommend.

I love this course and I try to play a few times a month on a Hot Deal which makes it much more affordable. Usually, pace of play is great, but this time, I wasn’t able to play the entire round. I had to leave after 9 holes because it took almost three hours to play the front. We teed off at 11:40 and were still waiting to tee off on ten at 2:30! By extension, that would have been a six hour round! Ridiculous!

Not sure where the bad reviews came from. Everyone was very nice and hospitable. We had rain our first day and they let us switch to Sunday without a problem.

The course is a great layout in very good shape. The greens were a bit slow but that’s us. Very true and well kept. Played under 4 hours behind a full tee sheet. Loved it and want to try again!

The course ranger will rush you to get out of course so they can get off work early. They call “being nice” for sending off tee time in mid afternoon and behave angry when you are trying to play 18 instead of 9

For the amount we paid the pace of play and amenities were very poor. Slow play was certainly an issue but jammed up bookings more likely the cause. We have to wait on every tee after the 1st hole. Worst set of rental clubs imaginable - 30 year old, mismatched set of clubs. No food options available in advance of a 10:00 am tee time. When we did see a beverage cart the food options were pretzels, chips and granola bars only. Entire experience was very disappointing.
