About
Woodlawn Golf Club in Adrian is a diverse course where you'll get a little bit of everything, from rolling hills to water and sand. Opened in 1956, the 18-hole course has a traditional layout that is shorter than most modern courses. Despite the relatively short length, there are plenty of challenges in store on this golf course. The greens are severely sloped and they play lightning fast. More often than not, you'll find that they're flanked by strategically placed bunkers as well. There are also water hazards that come into play on several holes. The golf course appeals to a wide range of skill levels since it's not overly punishing for high handicappers and there are risk-reward opportunities for more advanced players. Woodlawn Golf Club is one of the area's most affordable and there's also a college and high school discount.

Traveling the U.S.A.
This has been around for many years, actually started as a 9 - hole.
We knew the Horsemans (sp?) for many years too. Ron and Marilyn are very nice people and they built a wonderful, but not fancy, Michigan Golf Course.
That being said though, this is a great shorter course but very friendly to the "average" golfer.
fall course decent shape! Carts ????
Carts are horrible??? But course decent shape for Fall!
Good value
Special rates at this course makes it one of my top "go to's. They always keep things in good shape, and have a good mix of birdie holes. If you're hitting it good, you'll be rewarded, if you're hitting bad, look out for the blow up holes. They don't have a beverage cart riding around, so get your fill before the round or on the turn.
Woodland golf course
It was a good course. Nice wide fairways. Challenging greens for the most part. The only issue was the staff was not as helpful as they have been at other courses I have played.
Not what it used to be !!!
This course used to be a lot of fun due to the condition of the greens. FAST
Apparently the new owners apply all their time and money on their other courses.
We only saw six other golfers on the course. Probably because of the poorly maintained greens.
Different style
Longer par 3's and soft greens are what you get playing this course. There wasn't much difference between fairway grass and the rough. Could have used a trimming on the fairways. Greens had nice breaks and course slope was good.
What I expected
I have played this course several times. It's always been in good condition. The greens are challenging but fair. It's about 1/2 hour drive from Toledo, OH. It's worth the drive. It's fair for all levels of golfer. I have enjoyed it every time I've played it.
Good Value Course
The course is fairly long with many hills; there are some tight holes, especially on the back. The rough is fairly well burned out so it isn't the most spectacular course. The greens are in good shape even if the fairways are below average. What makes many of the holes difficult are the sloping greens that are large enough but elevated. There are a couple of tiered greens. The carts at the course are below average and not maintained well -- for example, bag straps are shredded on many of them.
Good Deale
First time playing n this part of the country. Found the course to be accommodating and challenging enough for a pleasant outing.
The Onion Patch!!!
There are a few holes that are a little bit on the tight side (Holes are close together). The carts were very poor condition, tee boxes were horrible and the greens were on the shaggy side. The entire golf course needed mowing and every fairway was filled with knee high wild onions. Not even close to Maywood! Spend the extra $10 and go to a far better course
Nice change of pace course.
Multiple risk/reward holes. A bit on the tight side. (holes run close together) Greens were on the shagy side. (tee'd off at noon, and a lot of rain the previous day) . Had a great time.
Not bad for the money
Needed mowing, other than that not too bad. Not as good as it once was, but still a decent course.
This course has a nice layout. Some interesting terrain to traverse. lots of hills a some tricky greens make it a nice course to play.
I enjoyed the the course and day. I will play it again.
Great Value
This course is one of my favorites in the area. It offers challenging holes and a well kept course. The greens roll very well and fairways are solid. The course is rather short with some easy par fours and fives but overall, the course offers a lot of fun for a little cash. The only minor complaint I have is that some areas of the rough are impossible to swing out of but I guess that just makes the course tougher.
Woodlawn has a lot of potential
Very friendly staff. Greens were actually pretty nice, only hole 18 needed some minor attention. They are big with some character. This course has loads of potential. But it looks like the owners don't have a lot of money to work with, that goes with the current economy. That being said the course was very playable. Fairways grass is fairly long, but weed free for the most part. Rough is well, rough. Lots of trees. We didn't waste our time or money playing this track, it was a fun afternoon. Course was setup very short on this particular day due to an outing, but they could really have made it long.
