Great course. Drawback is pace of play. Two foursomes ahead of me playing slow and conversing on the greens after finishing hole. No marshal.
Tournament ready course
This is a very nice, once private, now semi-private older course. And as the course’s name implies there are some hilly holes. But the rough was so thick and long that you had to be right on top of your ball to find it. After awhile that gets old fast.
Family day at Hills of Lenawee
Found a great deal for 3 using Golfpass+. We did not get matched up with anyone else which was nice. Course is in great condition and very green while we are in a drought. Front 9 moved at a normal place. Back 9 seemed that others were let out before we made the turn making for very slow play.
We would recommend and will be back!
Great track!
Narrow tree lined fairways and rolling hills are your companions on this golf journey. Greens and fairways in excellent shape and some very challenging holes. A fun round for sure I'll be back
Southeast Michigan Hidden Gem
First time playing this course and I am kicking myself for not taking the trip to Adrian sooner. The Hills of Lenawee is a great course! A new hidden gem in SE Michigan for me. Wide fairways and small protected greens give it old school charm. Fairways and greens were fantastic. Greens are quick and have undulations. Highly recommend playing this course! The staff were great and very friendly. Will be back very soon.
Great Shape
It’s been several years since I played here. But this place is definitely country club quality what a value.
Adrian golf
course was in great shape throughout. Speed of play was excellent despite playing behind several foursomes and we played as a twosome. I would encourage anybody if you are nearby to play this course.
Great course
The course is in great shape. This has to be one of the nicest public golf course in Southeast Michigan with tree lined fairways, elevation changes and fast greens.
Great old school track
If you like old school courses with small tricky greens you will love the Hills of Lenawee. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. Gave some great direction with respect to how to play the course. It is in good condition. Greens rolled fast and true. A little tricky the first time out there are definitely short cuts and places to miss. Put the driver away on many holes. You don't need to try and overpower the course target fairways and greens and have fun. Definitely worth the money.
Ex CC worth the travel
An old school CC setting with tilted greens throughout. The greens are the defense for the shorter yardage. 5 and 18 notably. You'll use multiple clubs off of the tees. Enjoy the course.
One of the coolest courses I have ever played
It really is “the hills” of Lenawee!!
1) Incredible rolling terrain
2) Immaculately manicured- Clean and taken care of - like not even a broken tee in any tee boxes - no garbage anywhere
3) Worth the drive from the city
Can’t say enough about it… I caught a hot deal tee time on a weekday morning - solo - one group let me play through and no one was in front of them. It was FANTASTIC
5 stars!!
Would play here every week if it was closer to home
Great course
Course is good butt Rochelle and Birdies Restaurant makes the location great!!!
Adrian, MI area
Best course I’ve ever played in the area, if certainly be referred to as Country Club quality. Hot deal was great, and I’ll certainly be returning every year. RD
Great Track
This course is in great condition and the staff is extremely kind. I love small greens as long as they are true. I saw maybe 1 pitch mark in 18 holes, you can tell the regulars take pride in their course. Best bang for the dollar all year. We play a different course within 100 miles of Ann Arbor every week. -Thank you
