Woodlawn Golf Club

About
Woodlawn Golf Club in Adrian is a diverse course where you'll get a little bit of everything, from rolling hills to water and sand. Opened in 1956, the 18-hole course has a traditional layout that is shorter than most modern courses. Despite the relatively short length, there are plenty of challenges in store on this golf course. The greens are severely sloped and they play lightning fast. More often than not, you'll find that they're flanked by strategically placed bunkers as well. There are also water hazards that come into play on several holes. The golf course appeals to a wide range of skill levels since it's not overly punishing for high handicappers and there are risk-reward opportunities for more advanced players. Woodlawn Golf Club is one of the area's most affordable and there's also a college and high school discount.

Not bad, could be better
Pace of play was pretty slow. Had a special running so the course was packed, nobody to enforce tee times, so you had a line of people out of order on the first tee. Course was in ok shape, fairways a little longer than I’m used to and the bunkers were pretty hard (one was full of grass clippings and dirt so I’m not sure what’s going on there, maybe it’s being filled in and removed from play). Overall a decent course for the money if you’re just looking to get out and hit the sticks.
They had a league playing in the middle of the day and bvb they bvb were bad and slow. The rest was fine.
I didn't use any amenities so I put that right in the middle.
Fun at Woodlawn GC
The course is in great shape, even with all the rain we have had over the last week. 3.5 inches in 2 days. Pace was very comfortable. Greens played true. But the greens did challenge us. Lay out was a lot of just a lot of fun.
Fun hilly challenge
Greens were in great shape. Teas were very fair. Even with all the rain we had had the fairways were in great condition. Just a lot of fun.
Great Value
I decided to take a buddy up on hitting Woodlawn. The greens were challenging and the course was one of the best manicured for the paid price. I would highly recommend this course to any golfer looking to challenge themselves on greens that you actually have to play a break!
