Well maintained
Course was in great shape! Nice layout! There were a few groups stacked up at the first tee so pace of play was a little slow but at just over 4 1/2 hours I can’t complain. I’ll be back
Slow with Mosquitos
Great course, but pace of play was extremely slow and there were a lot of mosquitos, I played at 7pm/
Definitely worth playing again!
Greens were in really good condition. Overall the course was well-maintained. Fun to play with it's fair share of challenges. My only criticism would be some patchy fairways on a couple holes. I'll be back!
Nice Course!
Great course, well maintained with some tough holes. Great Fun
Can’t wait to return!
I booked the earliest tee time possible and enjoyed one of the best rounds of the year so far. Beautiful nature/wildlife, peace and quiet on most holes + the fairways/greens were in spectacular condition. I can’t wait to get back and play again.
27 holes, apparently too many to manage
This was my second time playing Fellows Creek. Played it last year with a buddy and really enjoyed it. We had an early bird tee time, and we were sent off to play the east and south nines. Had a very good experience. So good that when I had a free Saturday morning I set up the first tee time of the day on Golf Now, and was excited about playing a fast paced round as a single.
I was even more excited when I was told east and south again. While I would have been okay with playing the west for the first time, I was thrilled to play the same two with some knowledge under my belt. I was one under through five, with back to back birdies on 4 and 5. I stumbled a bit on 6 and 7, but righted the ship. (Six and I don't get along.) Two over going into nine, I ended up at three over. Then... I ended.
Unlike the previous time when my buddy and I made a smooth transition at the turn to start the south nine, I was staring at three foursomes now in front of me. One driving down the fairway to their tee shots, one on the tee, and a third group warming up behind them. I'd played the first nine in an hour and ten minutes. Suddenly I'm looking at the prospect of a three hour back nine. The idea of rushing to play through groups in front of me was unpleasant. With three nines, I have no idea how they don't take into account groups making the turn. There's no excuse to have that many people at a tee to start a round, and there were two foursomes starting the east nine. One on the tee and one on deck. I was so disgusted I did something I've only done two other times in the 50 years I've been playing golf (I started when I was 8). I packed it up and walked off the course. I didn't even go in and ask for a rain check. No matter how nice the course is, I can't accept a five hour plus round when I teed off at 6 in the morning. I won't be back.
Nice Course
Everything is in good condition. Pace of play a bit slow but still had a pleasant evening
Fellows creek golf course
Great Course! Played west and east. Not too tough! Long holes, but great views. Worth checking out if you can get a deal!!
