Challenging course
I’m a 15 handicap and found the back nine very challenging. Narrow fairways and some blind hills/corners. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The clubhouse seemed plain, but clean, and adequate. The course conditions were very good. I took a cart and was glad I did. Would be a lot of walking. The price was very reasonable for what we received.
Challenging course
The course was well maintained and staff member was very helpful. The clubhouse was clean and adequate. You need to ride this course, as it’s long and hilly in places. The front was more fun to play, since the fairways had narrow areas on the back. I am a 15 handicap and still found this course challenging. Overall I enjoyed it. I paid a fair price for my round.
Great value! Challenging course
Beautiful course. One of our favorites in Michigan. Highly recommend.
Staff unprofessional
Our cart stopped working in the 1st fairway. I called the front desk and ask for a new cart. They accused us of taking the cart in the restricted area which we did not. Scolded us for not paying attention to warning signs. There wasn't any!. The kid working the counter was rude. But we had fun and scored well. Cause we snuck on some beers lol
Great course for the price
A great place that keeps up the course well and provides a challenging but fair game for any level of golfer. Had weird issues with the golf carts though.
Very nice course
Well
Maintained and in excellent condition. Very good layout for avid golfer to novice. Some really nice challenging holes especially if you play the blue tees. Tee boxes in perfect condition and fairways as well. Greed run true and fast. First time playing for my wife and myself. We will be back for sure. $60.00 each with cart for 18 holes with golf now. Can’t beat it. Course worth a lot more. Thanks golf now.
A gem north of Grand Rapids.
My wife and I enjoyed this course very much, layout was nice and the course in great conditon. We surprised of the very hilly terrain in many spots. The only thing I mentioned to the attendant in the PrioShop was that I thought the greens were a little bit slow. We will definitely come back again.
A Joy to Play
Beautiful day, beautiful course. I wish my play was the same!
Friendly Staff/Well Run
Have to say I always enjoy my time out at this course. The staff is always exceptionally friendly. They take pride in taking care fo the course and it shows. There were some unexpected pop up (torrential) storms that came through on Sunday when we played. We got absolutely soaked on the front nine and waited about an hour for the course to release some of that rain water before being allowed to walk the back nine. The staff even provided a basket of towels for us to dry off in the clubhouse. During our wait, I observed some very rude, disgruntled players complaining to the manager about not being able to continue with carts. I only wish they understood what it takes, day and night, to keep a golf course in good shape. Respect the game. Respect the course. Respect those who provide such a beautiful environment for us to enjoy this game.
Kudos to Cedar Chase staff! Keep up the good work. I’ll be back this coming Sunday!
