Playing as a single
I could’ve taken an earlier teatime that nobody had signed up for. But I took the 1 o’clock because two people had already booked that time. 20 minutes before my teatime to two guys I was supposed to play with were already gone. Instead of making new friends at the golf course there was 3 singles playing.
MISSISSIPPI GOLD
Great course to play when you stay in the fairway. Also,, the putting was excellent on the greens. The ball roll was magnificent.
Not impressed
Not sure what all the hype is about this course. Greens were full of pitch marks and many of the tee boxes were not level. Plus nearly 5 hours to play a round mid week. Play the metropark courses for a much better experience.
Fall golf at Pine knob
Fall golf at Pine knob, Picked a great day in September to enjoy fall as its just starting to enter Michigan. Beautiful course, excellent condition, and a great way to spend a Tuesday morning.
Closed 9 Holes
They closed 9 holes and shoved 27 holes worth of golfers on 18 holes and it took almost 6 hours. This was my 6th time playing the course this year and it has never been like this. I will not play there again until they open back up to 27 holes.
Good
A challenging course that is beautiful. After starting on the Eagle for 18, they let groups go off the second course just before we made the turn. There was a lot of waiting for Monday morning.
Well kept course
Beautiful course, nice layout with friendly staff.pace was a little slow
Overbooked
Great layout. Greens are a challenge. Pace of play this Saturday was absurd. 6 hours. Not fun.
Great golf course
My #1 golf course choice in the clarkston / Oxford area. Prices are fair and more reasonable than other similar local options. All 3 nines are in great shape because they don't overbook and have a fun / challenging layout. Great golf experience every time.
