About
Warren Valley Golf Club offers two courses that are situated alongside the Rouge River, sprawling across rolling terrain that is studded with stands of mature trees. Opened in 1922, the East and West Courses represent two of Donald Ross' first designs in Michigan. The Scottish architect designed each with a traditional, player-friendly layout that still has plenty of challenges in store. The East Course is the longer of the two courses at 6,189 yards, but only by about 60 yards or so. There are four scenic holes on the golf course that incorporate the river. The fairways are generous but lined with trees and the open greens are fairly level in front, giving them an inviting feel. Bunkering is sparse on this golf course but you will be surprised by the amount of elevation changes that can be found throughout.

Well priced
Had not played this course in over 20 years. Found it pretty much the way I remember. Nice layout, not the best course but enjoyable and well priced.
Rouge River Wet
Being that this course is on the Rouge River it is not a surprise that the course is wet after rain. Disappointed in layout. Wide open on some holes and could find yourself in the fairway of the west course. Greens are nice but fairways a bit long. Old School design that is player friendly. Will recommend to my not so particular Friends.
Glad you liked the layout. We regret to hear the conditions were a little wet. Come back and see us on a dry day.
Nice course
Open fairways. Course and greens were in great shape. Can be wet after a heavy rain. Nice clubhouse.

Easy course
Warren Valley Golf Courses are good courses for the value. Unfortunately, they are built on a flood plain. When it rains the conditions can be a bit wet for a few days after. So choose carefully when to play. The West course is always wetter than the East Course. The course is wide open so if your tee shots are hooking or slicing you can play up other fair ways with out a problem. The greens are not to difficult. The roll is not uniform through he course most roll slow however you have the sneaky ones that roll quick. All in all not a bad track. I've played here for years and will continue to do so.

This deal was acurately priced
The conditions of the course we're poor due to the rain we have encountered this season. Also the cart paths are in rough shape and going from the 12th green to the 13th tee was quite confusing.

Rain started after 2nd hole, played thru to 9, too much rain to continue our 18 holes

the course is good for friendly staff
The course was in good condition and the staff is always friendly. I was able to practice with my new fairway wood and ready for league play.

4 Star Course
My experience was overall a good one. Course looks to be kept up for the most part with the exception of a couple greens. Would recommend it to anyone for the price!

Started out bad
From the time I entered the club house and heard "do you have a tee time" instead of good morning,and a grunt after I said Good morning what a nice sunny day I knew it wouldn't get better. The Cart paths were a mess with huge holes to try to avoid.Hard pan all over.The greens were a mess also.I would never take anyone there again.Most county courses Have rude people working there but at least the courses are fine.This place was a mess and I will also tell GolfNow about it also.
Great Course

Warren valley
The course is in very nice shape. Pace of play was fine for 15 holes then slowed but overall was just fine
Nothing like no choice
If there is time to get to another course I do. I only play here when there's no other option. At Least through this site the price is more inline with the facility.
Quick round
First time out this year. Since I played alone other golfers were courteous and let me play through when deemed appropriate. Sky was a bit overcast which was great, but no threat of rain. My cart broke down on the ninth fairway and the starter took me back to get another cart which is worth mentioning as the carts were a couple hundred yards away. With all this, I was still able to play in about three and a half hours. Wow!
Died of thirst
It got fairly hot by the middle of the round. Even called to ask if a cart person was working. Front desk said yes, we never saw them. Almost died of thirst!! Thumbs down.
Had a great time
The couse was in good condition considering the elevation changes. The workers there always treat us nice good service, large dinning area and club house. We had a foursome and played from the blue tees very challenging.
A course with some potential
This course was overall good but with the weather conditions the course was not drained well, the grass was very wet. The staff is also a bit rude and the course design is confusing as to where the pin is for each hole.
I would golf here again for the price I just need to pick a better day.
18 riding
I have played this course many times and because of the river next to the course it has a tendency to flood quite a bit. Over all a good time was had by everyone.
