great time playing
The greens were in great shape. Open and fun to play.
The worst I have ever been at any golf coarse
The person that helped us, said they changed our tee time to 12:15 be cause we were golf now people.and they did not get any revenue form them so other people got our tee time. I said we were paying customers and should get what we payed for. I'm very disappointed and I hope you will drop the from your golf now program.
The course has early season issues
Surprisingly, the fairway grass hasn't really started to grow yet, thus the fairways were thin. The tee boxes had just been airated and sanded so we tee'd from temporaries. Several of the greens had numerous diseased areas, and they were rough. Even though the course was dry for this time of year, it was cart paths only. I know that High Cedars is a quality course in the summer, but it has a long way to go to get there.
winter
a little wet but for the time of year greens were in very good shape.they did have 2 par 4s that were 300 & 310 yards not bad for ptch & putt
Very scenic with manageable holes.
The fairways were in good shape but still soft so not much roll. the greens were mowed tight so ball rolled well. Carts were path only.
A MUST PLAY!
A VERY SCENIC COURSE TO PLAY.. LOVELY CEDAR TREES THROUGHOUT WITH EAGLES ALWAYS PERCHED ABOVE WATCHING YOUR SUB-PAR GOLF GAME! THE QUALITY OF THE FAIRWAYS AND GREENS ARE ALWAYS MAINTAINED. VERY NICE!
Wet Course
I knew the round would be a wet one- the course, not coming from the ski. Considering conditions the course played pretty true and you could see the grounds folks had been working to dry things out. Close to home and always fun to play.
Winter Golf
The course was very soft and muddy with lots of plugged balls including fairways. Greens rolled true and were also soft. Not a real good winter course but the price was right. If you are looking for firm fairways with roll this is not the course for you. This is winter golf at a competitive price.
Windy day
High Cedar is a great course. Due to the amount of rain in the past couple of days the course was a little muddy. Also the wind blew the leaves off the trees which made it difficult to find your ball
Good Course despite wet conditions
High Cedars is a good course for beginners and accomplished players. Despite the heavy rains the previous three days the course surprisingly played pretty good. The cart path only was a key reason the course was in such good shape. Looks like they are working on the tee boxes on most holes.
Pace of play was okay considering the wet conditions. Food was a little pricey but very good and staff was very friendly. Overall I would recommend this course for first timers and seasoned golfers. You have great views of Mount Rainer throughout the course.
Great Fall Course
High Cedars is a great course to play this time of year. If it is clear, there are many beautiful views of Mt. Rainier. We also saw eagles that nest in the tall trees. There are a niece variety of holes with most fairways wide enough to allow for mishits. The greens were still bumpy and sandy and some temporary tees were used, due to fall maintenance.
great
the mountain view is the best around. course was in good shape , the trees are dropping leaves on green do need to clean a lot to putt
Good
The course was in really good condition and they have nice carts
Open Fairways
It's a very open course and fun the play. Boarders a river on a lot of holes and a bald eagle to see nested above one hole as well. Very pretty. The grounds crew leave huge grass clippings all over and seemed a little lazy and the greens on a couple holes were in horrible shape. For the money it's a great deal and course overall.
Great Executive Track
My wife and I enjoyed a quick 9 on this exec course. She's a novice golfer and the course was perfect for her. I liked that there are a couple of par 4s there so that I could let the big dog eat.
High Cedars first time
The three of us were first timers on the course and really enjoyed it. The tall trees made for staying on your fairway the best option. (I have a slice...) With the range bucket part of the cost made for a great way to warm up and be prepared. We enjoyed the day! We'll be back!
Stunning view of Mt Rainier
I have been playing Hi Cedars for 30 years or more and I still love the course. Some challenges but forgiving. Love that the geese are gone !!!! Staff on the desk are great folks and the food is good. You can never get enough of that Mt rainier view.
Decent course, well groomed, bring your own water
The staff was average - not particularly welcoming but at least they had someone there to service us.
We always use a GolfNow discount otherwise the greens fees are higher than the course warrants. The clubhouse and amenities were nice for breaks between rounds or post-play refreshments. The course itself was nicely kept, greens were smooth, no divets or bare spots. Trees line the different fairways but no problem finding errant shots. The only thing lacking is availability of drinking water - no fountains or water coolers on an 85 degree day. Otherwise a good local course.
Good course, great value.
Took My son is here for his 30th birthday had a great time great weather good staff good conditions would recommend this to anyone
Coming back
walked 18. This course has become a very nice experience. They have clearly put some thought into how to best invest in the course ad it shows! Nice job!
