Highland Hills Golf Club

This was by far the worst course and worst golf experience of my life. The clubhouse and course are very poorly maintained. The restroom inside the clubhouse smelled worse than an outhouse, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently. The fairways were as long as the rough and on most holes it was difficult to tell the difference at all. The greens were pocked and gouged making accurate putting all but impossible. My son and I started behind another father/son twosome. And pace on the first two holes was good. Then we caught up to a very inexperienced five-some who had little understanding of golf etiquette and even less skill. They let the other duo play through and initially said we could play through, but then they continued in front of us. We were waiting an average of 8-10 minutes on every tee-box after that. At one point my son hit a tree between our green and the next tee box (where the group of 5 was about to tee off), and when we apologized for being close the five-some threatened us. We used irons on the next tee to slow our own play and keep some distance. On the last hole we played there were houses hidden behind the trees on the right side. We had no idea they were there. One of our tee shots went right into the edge of what we thought were woods. When we got up near where the ball went in the homeowners ran toward us screaming obscenities and threw our ball at us. At that point we decided to end our round. Paid for 18 and didn’t finish 9. This course isn’t worth playing, even if it were free.

You get what you pay for. Not complaining too much but if you like a up-kept course, this isn’t for you. Some greens were very poorly maintained. Huge dirt spots. Very hard to putt. Pace of play wasn’t very good. Some tee boxes and greens were way too close to each other.

First time play at this course. It has bad maintenance. Tee box very rough, fairway has no grass or no cut. Car path not paved. Price we got was good due to discount coupon at GN.

We liked this course so much we played 36 holes. The fairways run. The greens aren't super fast. The front 9 is pretty open. Back 9 is more challenging but very fun. The staff was awesome. Super nice people. Price was more than fair. If I lived closer I would get a membership but it's a 45 minute drive for me.

We were rained out on Tuesday but because of heavy rain the course was nice and scheduled us in on Friday. The staff was friendly and we all enjoyed the round though delayed.

No ranger. People golfing who had no business being on a golf course. Zero etiquette. Would not come back.

Course isn’t in the best condition but greens are small and there are some tight driving holes a good place for practice rounds at a low price

Off the very first tee shot, you can't see the green, you can't see the group in front of you. I hit a great shot over the hill, had to have been in the fairway but because I couldn't see the group in front of me I believe they picked up my tee shot. Obviously if I knew they were there I wouldn't have hit. There are places where the greens are less than 20 yards away from the next Tee box so while you're trying to tee off the group behind you is hitting into you. Long story short the landscape isn't big enough for 18 holes of golf. if you're looking for cheap, then this is the place.
