White/Blue at Eastern Hills Municipal Golf Club

I wrote a review about being doubke billed. I AM SORRY. EASTERN HILLS IN KALAMAZOO IS WONDERFUL.

I was double billed at EMERALD HILLS, MARSHALL, MI. Still awaiting resolution.

Don't let the old negative reviews fool you! I was pretty concerned about booking a tee time on golf now and then looking at the reviews... Apparently back a couple years ago they had a really bad irrigation issue and it sounded like the course was in bad shape. They definitely have things on the right track now! I would definitely recommend this course!!!

Need to make a note to self about checking aeration schedule. Greens obviously irrational and unpredictable. Fairways were green which is major accomplishment considering recent drought. Played course many times over the years.

This course is a really good course and is always in excellent condition but the pace of play is really slow.

I have driven past this course several times and have always wanted to try it. We drove about an hour to get there and it had just finished raining.

One of the staff went in back and brought out a dry cart so we loaded up and hit the first tee.

We were first off after the storm and we were able to get around the course in a little under 3 hours. The greens were in very good shape, they rolled true and it is apparently the golfers who normally play there fix there divots and pitch marks. The traps were in decent shape (with the exception of a couple of puddles due to the heavy rain).

The course is fairly open and and you can see any trouble off the tee so it is fun to play.

Overall a very nice experience, will play here again.

Pace of play was good. We played behind a five some?? Luckily they moved along quickly. We were able to complete 18 in less then Han 4 hours. Course was in great shape. Greens are hard, play approach shots to front of green. Shots fired at middle or back of green had tendency to bounce off of green. Putting surface was in great shape and rolled true. Water comes into play on a few holes. Sand traps were easy to recover from but there was only one rake per trap. Great course to tune up your game even for beginners.

Course was in pretty good shape and the price was right.

The course was in great shape. The fairways and ruff was mowed very nice. The greens was in great shape. Enjoyed playing the course.

For a inner city course it doesn't get much better player friendly with a few tough holes as well I always enjoy playing here

Played in the morning until middle afternoon. Was able to get around relatively quick and the other patrons were willing to let a single play through. The course can be tough, but is a fair test and plays to your handicap.

got to the golf course a little early and we were on the putting green and the guy brings us out a cart and said we could pay when we made the turn if we wanted to got off early. tee"d off 10 minutes before they opened. great staff and pleasant course. nice greens and long rough, hit the fairways. will be back.

Nice course and pretty cheap

The course was in good condition. Pace was slow seemed the group ahead was looking for balls all day long

parallel faiways, moderate difficulty level, condition , not bad for a Public course I played middday during the week so we ficished in 3 1/2 hours. Greens were excellent

Very good day at Eastern Hills!
Weather was much better than predicted!
Course was in great shape and really enjoyed the day!~
